Dirty Rowdy Thing not only met my expectations it surpassed them! Christina Lauren created a fun, poignant, sweet, hot and amazing story with Finn and Harlow. Dirty Rowdy Thing was a five star read through and through and so far is the best in the series! (of course that could all change once I get my hands on Oliver's story) Dirty Rowdy Thing picks up after the story in Sweet Filthy Boy but this story is based on Harlow and Finn. While reading Sweet Filthy Boy would give you a bit of a background on this cast of characters, you can read this as a stand alone and fall in love with Finn just like I did. The chemistry, humor, heat and emotion that Christina Lauren enriches their stories with is really special and had me devouring Finn (I mean Dirty Rowdy Thing) in two nights. Harlow was a character I wanted to know more about from Sweet Filthy Boy and I am glad her character turned out to be such a great person! Yes, she comes across as a good time girl, that likes to bust your balls, but Christina Lauren made her much more than that. I love how "human" and real she came across and her struggles, choices and need for distraction was great reading. Harlow with Finn was a strong chemical reaction that blew up my Kindle with sparks and heat! I loved these two together and their journey was fascinating to read. Finn is a tough character, he has lots on his shoulders and wants what he is afraid to admit he wants. Christina Lauren created the perfect combination of dirty, kinky, sweet and incredible with Finn. Watching these two go from the random hook-up to friends to growing real genuine feelings for one another was addicting. I loved these two! Christina Lauren's writing keeps getting better and better, each book is better than the last and I can't wait for more from these characters! The characters created in this series have great chemistry and are people I want to know more about! I loved getting to check in on Mia and Ansel and seeing what Oliver and Lola are up to as well (I really need Oliver's story!) Christina Lauren knows how to write a story that is fun, quirky, HOT and emotional all rolled up into a fantastic story about two people who are going through life trying to find themselves but along the way they find each other too. If you are a fan of the Wild Seasons series (or the Beautiful Bastard series), you will love Dirty Rowdy Thing. If you have have never read a Christina Lauren book before you are in for a treat! Dirty Rowdy Thing is an amazing story about two people who think they want only one thing from each other, but discover they want so much more than what is on the surface. I can't wait for the next book in this series, Christina Lauren books are auto-buy books for sure! Review: Finn and Harlow's story is amazing! - After reading Ansel and Mia's story and getting to meet Finn and Harlow, I couldn't wait to see how things ended up for these two passionate characters. Harlow and Finn have had a relationship of either fighting, ignoring one another, or having hot steamy sex since their twelve hour marriage in Vegas a few months ago. With their best friends being married, they are thrown together more than Harlow would like, and when she finds out Finn is going to be in town for a few weeks, she can either ignore him, or use him, and what happens is one crazy and wild ride! Harlow is always the fixer in the group, the happy go lucky girl, so when her world comes crashing down around her, she doesn't know how to handle it. Finn is the distraction she needs. Finn is dealing with his own family issues and trying very hard to save his family business. He knows he doesn't need a distraction, but something about being with Harlow makes things seem less bleak in the world. I loved how these two didn't realize at first, but were quickly become each others person. Finn is able to open up to Harlow about what is going on and he feels better when he does. I just wish Harlow would have opened up to him about what was going on with her mom. Everyone else in the group knows what is going with her. Watching them banter back and forth, push each other to new limits, and fall in love was beautiful. Finn and Harlow try to be friends, but it really doesn't work for them. There is too much chemistry, too much attraction, and they just belong to one another. Every one of their friends sees it, but it takes a while for them to realize it. I loved how Harlow tried to help Finn, and I hated how Finn handled her wanting to help him. They should have talked more but instead everything blew up for them and my heart was crushed for both of them. Thankfully both of them have some amazing friends who helped them see the wrongs of their ways, but being as though Finn and Harlow are both extremely stubborn, it took a while for them to make things right. I felt as if Dirty Rowdy Thing had more of a deeper story than Sweet Filthy Boy. I still laughed, I still swooned, and I definitely fell for Finn, but this book dealt with some bigger issues and watching Harlow and Finn navigate around them and find happiness was beautiful. I can't wait to jump into Oliver's book, and hopefully get a glimpse of more Harlow and Finn, especially with how their story ended! If you want an amazing read that will have you laughing, crying, and falling hard, I highly suggest picking up Dirty Rowdy Thing today!

I really loved this book, I read it all at once! I pre-ordered it and read it the day I got it. It was as funny as their other books. I'd say that I prefered that one to Mia and Ansel's story. Don't get me wrong, I loooved that book but I feel like Harlow and Fii-nn are just more touching and appealing. I can not wait for the sequel of the series even though it means the end... Do not hesitate. Order ir! You won't regret it

Absolutely love this series, I had to re-read Sweet Filthy Boy, so I could properly prepare myself for Dirty Rowdy Thing, the characters in this series are very engaging and the story is never boring, and lets face it, Finn is a hot alpha guy, of course he is loveable which doesn't hurt. I know the next book in the Wild Seasons series doesn't come out until next year and I know I will read the first two books again when the third book comes out, and I'll enjoy every minute. Thank you Christina Lauren.

Although the price is quite high for a kindle book it is completely worth it, just like the first book in the series Sweet Filthy Boy. It’s not completely necessary that you read them in order however, it does help as you get to see a little bit of the tension between Harlow and Finn before getting to know them in their own right. I loved this book. From the moment I started until I clicked onto the last page I knew this was going to be my favourite of the series, the one I would re-read. My Beautiful Player (Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Series book 3) of the Wild Seasons series. Finn is Harlow’s ex-husband, their Vegas wedding lasted as long as it took them to realise the mistake they had made as outside the bedroom they don’t even like one another. Yeah, right. The moment I started this I knew it was going to be a great love story. One filled with two passionate, sexy, fierce main characters, a great storyline and great writing that was going to keep me hooked throughout. This is dual POV (massive winner) which is one of the first things I loved about Christina Lauren’s writing. Both characters have a fair amount of issues in their current lives but also in their past and it’s good to get their individual stories, feelings and thoughts directly from them. Finn is older than Harlow and sees things a little differently compared to her. He’s a little jaded but Harlow brings light and hope and love back into his life. He is also completely gorgeous. If I was Harlow I would love him just as hard as she does in the end. Both characters find escape in one another when they are reconnected at their mutual friends store opening. The attraction and heat between the two of them is wild, dirty and explosive. I loved the scenes when the characters were together because their banter and chemistry is off the charts. They are both adamant that they don’t even like each other but you can see it changing as you read on. Finn is pretty closed off to emotions and is struggling to keep all the balls in the air with work and family. His maturity matches Harlow’s despite the age difference and Harlow is a great female character to read about. She’s straight down the line and is a complete go-getter. I loved that she goes after what she wants instead of waiting to be handed something on a platter. Although the ending of the story is predictable there are many ups and downs before you get to it. I actually feel like starting it again after writing this review! Enjoy.

This is the second book in the Wild Seasons Series for the dynamic duo of Christina Lauren. Dirty Rowdy Thing is the story of Finn Roberts and Harlow Vega. As we know from Sweet Filthy Boy, these two were married briefly during a drunken night in Vegas. Finn runs a fishing business on Vancouver Island, while Harlow is an intern at NBC. Their lives are miles apart geographically and metaphorically, but the chemistry between them is impossible to ignore. Each of them are faced with the biggest challenge of their lives and when Harlow unexpectedly finds Finn in San Diego, they use each other as an escape from their respective problems. Lust quickly turns to love, but how are they going to get over the hurdles they must jump and earn enough trust in each other to be together finally? I loved reading about how these two grew to know each other more than the surface deep assumptions they had both made in Vegas. Both of them value family highly and have been in caretaker mode. They must learn to take a step back and care for themselves for once. I don’t know which story I like the best in this series. These girls are definitely in my top ten favourite authors, maybe even top five. I simply adore their stories and this book is no exception. They have shared their brilliance, yet again. Thanks ladies! Cheers
