i got the product after 3 days of the order so that nice. i just cut the root into pieces and slow cook it for 30 minutes then the root would be soft enough to be eaten along with the tea. i put a little bit of honey to add some sweetness because the root itself is a bit bitter. can't say if the 6-8 claims is authentic since none of the root stem were there to verify that. but some does show that is it 3 years root.

Best quality bar none, of course that’s why it’s American ginseng

I bought just for drink, and use sometimes in winter time. It help my health, and easy to sleep.

The flavor was good. But the size being medium is considerably small and they all irregular size so some rather really small. I bought 5 pigs of these sucker thinking it was bigger and even the package itself was small. If you plan to give it as gift it would be rather embarrassing in my opinion. I intentionally bought one 4oz package for myself and perhaps the 16oz as a gift, but the seller choose to send 5 individually wrapped 4oz packages.
