Nice, easy to use, very accurate, plus gps
I have another rangefinder, however I like this Bushnell much better. It locks on to the pin, gives accurate yardage, and is easy to hold. It has a rechargable battery so you do not have to worry about spare batteries, just charge at the end of you round. I have played up to 3 rounds before recharging. The gps function is awesome as well. You can glance at the gps before rangefinding, get a front, middle back distance, then range the pin. Really helps to know if you locked on to the correct distance. The gps is also great to be able to get distances to hazards that are not line of sight. Buy without hesitantion. I love mine.

Best GPS/Laser Rangefinder I have used
I really like this unit, and it is working very well for me. The combination of GPS and laser is perfect. I tried a Bushnell Z6 laser first, but returned it and bought this hybrid. Lasers are hard to lock on over 200 yards, especially in bright sunlight. I like being able to look at the GPS when I am over 200 yards away to see if I need to shoot the laser. If I am over 230 yards away on a par 5 I don't need the precision of a laser, as I can't hit my 3 wood farther than that. Why slow down the game when you don't have to. Plus it is nice to have the GPS numbers to confirm that your laser distance is in the ball park, and you didn't shoot the trees behind the green. Like someone else said, this is the best of both worlds. I also remapped the GPS distances on the greens at my home course, which was really good to do, as I was surprised at that some were as much as 10 yards off. The battery life has been very impressive so far, as I can play multiple rounds before needing to charge.

Worked like a charm
Worked like a charm. Didn't have to read the instructions. Most important, when standing on a sprinkler head, the GPS function nailed the distance within a yard or two. When using the laser function it produced the distance to the pin more quickly than my ancient heavy Bushnell. Contrary to a review I read before buying it, it also gave distance to targets other than the pin such as the rocks on the far side of a water hazard. Slightly heavier and bulkier than either type of single purpose model. If you use the GPS function, the battery depletes similar to the sky caddy or garmin - two rounds and you have to recharge / put in new AAs. If you just use the laser function - don't turn on the GPS - the battery lasts and lasts.

This product has some issues
I am quite happy with the GPS and laser rangefinder features of this device. I especially like that it is rechargeable and doesn't require carrying spare batteries. I play a round and recharge. I'm sure it will last 2-3 rounds but why take the chance that it will run out of power when you need it. I like that it gives distances to water, bunkers, etc. in addition to the standard green distances. However, I believe there is a bug in the device software which doesn't detect that the device is fully charged. It keeps saying that it is charging. Yet when I check the charge using the menu, it says 100% charged. I've let it run down and it charges back ok. I am in the warranty period but the only response from customer service is send it back and we'll check it. You will be without it for several weeks. Not likely that I will do that during golf season! Why not let us download and apply the latest software? The entire package leaves a couple things to be desired too. The device has a place to attach a wrist lanyard to help avoid undesirable drops. A drop would likely be very damaging. However, no lanyard is included. I am using the lanyard from my camera. There is a nice case which you can attach to your golf bag but the clasp, being plastic, almost certainly will break and you'll be driving away from your expensive device. If you get this device, replace the case plastic clasp with a strong metal clasp before it happens!I deducted one star for the software issue and one star for the package omissions.

Accurate, easy to use, good battery life. As advertised. Love it.
Very easy to use. I did read the instructions first to get the highlights, and would recommend doing the same, but it's very easy to pick up. I used it on the range first, and it was great. Then I took it out on the course for 2 rounds and it never missed a beat. GPS feature is great to know what you need for carries, where to stay short of to miss fairway or green-side bunkers if you're laying up, or simply to know how far the pin is off the front or back of the green to help with club selection. It doesn't have a wrist lanyard with it, which seemed a bit disappointing out of the box, but I never missed it. The included case provides plenty of protection for it as well.

This is a defective product
First of all, please know that Amazon was an excellent company to work with throughout this buying process. I researched rangefinders and the Bushnell came highly recommended. I purchased this for my fiancé's birthday; hoping to have a sensational birthday gift for him as he is an avid golfer. The first unit arrived with a cracked case (in two places) and would not hold a charge. I sent it back. Again to reiterate, Amazon was excellent to work with during the return process, The new unit arrived within 2 days of the return request being sent to Amazon. Guess what?! The second unit had a defective LED display!!! The price of this unit is almost $500. For that price I expect a product that will work! I want my money back now. This is ridiculous.

Best of both worlds
The Hybrid Laser works as advertised. I gave it a full six hour charge and it has performed perfectly. I have actually picked up a few strokes because I have the exact yardage to the pin. It allows you to attack the pin with confidence and you have the GPS to validate your yardage. I have used other GPS devices for years, but the hybrid version is the best product by far.It is easy to use. You do need somewhat of a steady hand. I used two hands to make sure I am shooting the desired target. There is a big difference in hitting a gap wedge or a pitching wedge to your target. This device eliminates the guess work an uncertainty of club selection.
