Stone Cold (The Camel Club Book 3) - Kindle edition by Baldacci, David. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading Stone Cold (The Camel Club Book 3). Review: Another great Baldacci offering - For readers of adventure, mystery, and action. This is the third book of David Baldacci's Camel Club Series and to me the best Series of the five series he has created. All the books of the Camel Club Series rate a 5 star with me. Oliver Stone is the main character of all the Camel Club Series along with several other characters that appear in each of the series' books. All these characters are very well developed in each of the books and I think a reader could read this series out of order and still enjoy them. However this series has much more impact if read in order of issue as each book carries a little something on to the next one. I do not give 5 stars to just any book or series but Baldacci deserves a 5 star rating for this book and this complete series so far. If you are interested in reading the Camel Club Series from the beginning here is the order of issue: #1 The Camel Club; #2 The Collectors; #3 Stone Cold; #4 Devine Justice; #5 Hell's Corner. I am hoping that Baldacci will write more to this series but right now he seems to be working on adding to some of the other series he has created. To me none of the other 4 series he has created truly rates 5 stars. The King & Maxwell Series rates a solid 4 stars overall but The Shaw; John Puller and Will Robie series just don't rate as high. However his most recent addition (2013) to the Will Robie Series titled The Hit might just be the best of what he has written recently. Baldacci has many "stand alone" books and many are enjoyable reading as well. And if you don't care for mystery, adventure and intrigue try reading his book "Wish You Well"--heart warming story set in rural Virginia of years past. Excellent for adults and children of 12 and up. Review: fabulous! - This is a great series That just keeps getting better and better. This book is left with a cliffhanger that will blow your mind. Get it and read it and you will not be disappointed. One great read!

Baldacci
He never disappoints. Plot, character and adventure for the men and women who live in Baldacci world. I became a fan by accident, literally. After an accident i could not read or wear glasses, so i essentially grabbled and listened to every book-on-tape or disk in my local library for the 7-8 years until my body healed the nerve damage enough to wear glasses again. By then, i was a solid fan of Baldacci stories and characters. Highly recommended

Much Better then The Collectors. A MUST READ!!!
I could not really stand "The Collectors" though you do need to read it for the background in this book. Which closes some things that happened in that book. This one was not stop action from beginning to end and less descriptive which made it that much mmore interesting. I loved the plot twists and I could not put this one down. I think that the author got this one right. I was hooked from page 1 to the last page. I like the character development and the fact that, yes some of the good guys get killed. It was good to see that Alex Ford actually had a good part in this book considering he is an honorary member of The Camel Club. While in the last book he had like one or two pages worth of time in the book. To me, the books are about Ford and Stone. Everyone else is in the background for the most part. It played off well in this one and I hope to see Ford in the remaining series. So not saying much of anything, please read this book. It is excellent! A page turner and I love the ending. Not as predictable as the last book.

Almost perfect~ an awesome page turner...
David Baldacci, as usual, has an excellent command of the English language and his plot doesn't have 'gaps' in it. He doesn't call things by the wrong name because he didn't properly research them and the story does not have contradictions that he just skipped over and hoped the reader doesn't notice. The reader is not left saying "But what about..." He does, however, use his lit-license to adjust historical facts in order to move his story along- he even tells the reader he did it to improve the story and not because he's an idiot. I will not explain the plot, because other reviewers have already written about it in detail. I will mention that the characters have depth; each character has his or her own quirks and multiple aspect that make up his or her personality. The writing style is captivating and urges the reader to keep turning pages. Nothing is perfect, but Amazon will not let me choose 4.8 stars...

A true David Baldacci page turner, a classic tale of twists, turns and intrigue. I simply couldn’t stop reading. The plot was so subtle that I barely contained my excitement to the next page. John Carr / Oliver Stone sheds some of his layers and it’s mesmerising to read about

Beste Unterhaltung eben!

I really enjoy the Camel Club series of David Baldacci. This book, Stone Cold, really shows the personality and the skills that John Carr (aka Oliver Stone) has as a former assassin. It is a non-stop action from page one. I could not turn the book down and I read it in couple days.

In my opinion this was the best one yet! A fantastic novel. The parallel story telling and how they came together were masterful. I can't wait to start #4 !!
