Does it look natural (i.e.non-orange)?

Yes, I have tried many self tanners and this by far is the most natural looking and easiest to apply evenly that I have tried. It isn't sticky feeling and it smells the best of the self tanners I have used

Yes I do use it on my face, it needs to Applied gently and make sure you rub it well or through your face and it is up to you put a little bit all over and then you keep doing the second coat and the Dakota depends of how dark you want to face. Once you are comfortable with the shade that you put on it looks beautiful looks like a very natural tan and I wear it all year long

What color is the lotion? is it white or brown? does this replace the sublime bronze self-tanning milk?

The lotion in the tub is a bronze color. When it is rubbed into the skin it does not look tan at first but in a few hours the skin is bronzed as advertised. The lotion in the tube is not white. I have not idea if it "replaces" the milk item, but I have always and only used the sunless lotion to very satisfying results.

Is this water proof could I go swimming with out it coming off

It wouldn't come completely off but it would fade a lot
