As I say, it's a great bit of kit. Seems well-made and reasonably sturdy. Coffee doesn't stay hot for long but then there's only 300mls or so in there so I usually drink it all before it goes cold. Pours ok. Plus easy to keep clean. Love the metal filter - no more paper filters to mess with! Would make a great gift.

I love the simplicity and beauty of this Pour Over Coffee Maker. The stainless steel filter is magnificient - it really doesn't allow any ground coffee through so you have a beautiful tasting, aromatic cup of coffee without the grit. Washing up afterwards is a breeze due to it's design and the material used (not to mention how elegant and aesthetic it looks as well). Plus, it's soo environmentally friendly because you don't need paper filters. A part of me likes to think that I'm actually contributing to saving trees although this is made possible by the product itself. Maybe the credit should go to Coffee Gator but I digress. It's a great Coffee Maker and you get great results from it. ps - I should also mention that the service from Coffee Gator is amazing. I wrote to them with a query on a Sunday evening (7 p.m.) to help me decide on which Coffee Maker to buy and received a response with helpful advice within the hour. The service is very personalised - almost as if you're there face to face doing the shopping. Impressive!

This does make a lovely cup of coffee and being able to tap the leftovers into the bin is a lot easier than a French press. Down side is that the glass is so thin its going to take a little tap with a cup or spoon to break it. When I pick it up it feels so weak I am going to store it in its cardboard box! Apart from that it's a great design and works very well. Would be 5 starts if not so weak and thin glass, if it does break I will not be purchasing again will want something built for a kitchen environment.

Bought as a Christmas present for my son along with other Gator items. I bought the small size which does not have a handle but has a silicon collar instead. The shape is quite aesthetically pleasing, it's easy to clean, well designed and produced, and it was very well packaged. A real quality product. It's the first time he has tried low pressure/gravity filter coffee and he was impressed. The coffee comes out crystal clear from the amazing filter which just rinses clean. He has previously used a Moka pot (percolator) and was getting fed up with the messing around. The Gator is really quick and easy to use and to clean. It's a quality product and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

I am no coffee expert (yet) and this is my first "drip coffee" experience. The coffee we make tastes good and we like it. I definitely had better, but then this depends on many other things like the coffee itself, grinding, storing and even how many scoops you use etc, so I am sure it will improve as I get a better hand on the process. When it comes to the actual coffee maker, I love the way it looks, its simplicity and how easy it is to wash everything, without the need to buy paper filters. Overall good buy and a step forwards :-)

Wonderful design. Love making coffee in the early hours now! Easy to use and clean - can be put in the dishwasher too. Filters very well - no trace of coffee grounds at all.

I enjoyed 19 excellent cups of coffee out of this Coffee Maker before the mesh separated from ring that holds it up. I don't know if it was the weight of coffee & water that did it in or knocking the grounds out or washing and drying. It is fragile so treat with caution.

Good solid coffee jug. Was worried that the filter mesh would become useless after a few days, as some reviews hinted at, so now that it's been at least a fortnight I decided that Coffee Gator has proven their quality of product. This item is both fashionable and functional, very satisfied with my purchase. For those of you interested, the purchase also comes with a pdf of how to make the most out of making your coffee, but I'm pretty busy and also fairly stubbornly set in my ways so haven't read it at all yet, though I felt the gesture of giving people a walk through of making coffee was nice.

Great. Was forced to use a French press for a while, this makes better, stronger coffee with no sediment and is easier to clean. For the size, I'm also impressed with how much you can fit in, it has measurements for 3 cups. Easily does that, plenty of room for someone to do 2 big cups too.

I love how compact this unit is, no big coffee maker on the counter. Three pours of water and you have your large coffee to go. Coffee tastes better with boiled water. Full coffee flavour compared to a counter unit. Easy to clean. A bit pricey but you'll always have the great stainless steel filter and it could be used without the flask if you ever broke it.
