It protects anything that I'm sending out in the mail.

I think it might be because of the humid climate here but I have ordered these envelopes, returned them and got a replacement and still have the same problems. They have obviously been stored in a damp environment. The glue is stuck on each envelope, they are damp and the metal clips are rusted. The rust seeps onto the envelope leaving a small stain. The clip still works but you have to tape the envelope shut as the glue won’t hold it closed. I don’t have time to return them a second time so I’ll leave them out to dry and hope for the best. They are rated highly so I’m guessing it’s how they are stored here that’s the issue.
