For a novice this is an excellent little light kit. I did some research prior to buying this light kit
For a novice this is an excellent little light kit. I did some research prior to buying this light kit. I am not a pro photographer and use an SLR cannon camera, typically I just put it on one of the basic settings. Photoshop was still needed to adjust the photos to get the colors as you need them to be. But with stronger lights I imagine the photos would require less PS time. I however am very happy with the set as I received it. light kit. I did some research prior to buying this light kit. I sell items on Etsy and some are items in need of the kit. Photoshop was still needed to adjust the photos to get the colors as you may need them to be. But with stronger lights I imagine the photos would require less PS time.I however am very happy with the set as I received it. I found it super easy to assemble, the lights did not overheat and this could be the fact that I used the LED lights and not the typical lights. I found the lights to have a nice bright white to them (sort of a light snob here I use to own saltwater tanks with coral and it is amazing at how sensitive you become to light rays). The additional color backgrounds are on a roll and may require ironing prior to using. I did not find this to be an issue, but my items are small. Larger may require this. The kit was plug and play lights worked with no problem. I did add an additional white poster board under the bottom to avoid the darker surface from showing though. All in all a wonderful little kit for the money.

Worth the cost at Twice the Price!
Amazed at the quality, would still be a great deal for twice the proce! Will be using this to photograph everything in a store for images for an online store.Pro's:Case holds everything and more! LED's are very bright, Halogens are not near as bright but are closer to daylight in spectrum. Camera Stand has good construction with enough weight to balance my Pentax K3 with either my 55mm f1.4 prime or my 18-135mm f4 to f5.6, Cell phone grip holds like a gorilla! Box and backdrops are decent (and can always get more colors at a fabric store)Cons: really a couple minor gripes, No color gels for the LED's, and an adapter would be good (clamps or dual mounts) to convert from tabletop to tripod or dual light grip mount ( making my own from pvc )

Satisfactory Light Tent, Good but not perfect.
I am overall, please with the tent. Sturdy, and functional. The color change sheets are a little bit of a pain to change out but doable and not that time consuming. I am just a little impatient. I think it was right on for the money spent. I don't use the Halogen lights though. If I put a kit together just buying the components seperately, I would not need the Halogen lights. The LED are fine, I would rather have better LED lights and leave the Halogen out. Halogen is hot, you have to really watch what they are next to, especially the plastic tent. The size is good, big enough for the items I list and sell on my online store. Most of them but that's okay, this kit is what I needed. The camera holder is a little difficult to mess with in that if you move it around a lot, it begins to be loose so I find myself just holding my camera a lot. But that is personal preference. The camera stand is certainly fine for the money spent and I definitely still use it when doing repetitive items that don't require a lot of different angles. All in all, I would buy again if that is the money I had to spend. If I had a larger budget, I would really think about putting together my own small light studio in my workroom.

The design folds flat and easily opens. The color panels are useful
The box itself is OK. The design folds flat and easily opens. The color panels are useful. When set up correctly, it works fine. However there are many cons. One of the LED lights would not work. One of the prongs is longer than the other on the power plug and does not connect. The distributor would not replace the light because it was not purchased directly from them. A second light later failed to work. Several color panels were wrinkled and needed to be ironed. The lights have VERY flimsy built in stands. I will probably go to a local photo shop and get better lights. The box is larger than I expected and takes up too much space for my setup, but may be just right for you. Remember, you need room outside the box to set up the lights.

Great starter light box
Looking for an entry level light box without breaking the bank to take some product images. The LimoStudio was an excellent choice! The light box itself folds out easily and quickly. It comes with 4 different back drops which was a nice feature. These connect to the back of the box with Velcro. The lights set up easily, though the metal feet slide real easy and can be knocked of your working surface. I added a bead of hot glue on each foot to add additional grip. Both the halogen and LED lights work well to illuminate the box. The stand to use a phone to take pictures was a nice touch, though I am using a regular tripod. The case which actually unfolds into the light box itself organizes all the gear plus and extension cord well. All in all great starter light box for catalog quality pictures.

This is a great product. I was shocked to see that 4 tripod lights come with it along with the 3 interchangeable background colors. Set up is extremely easy. I did have some confusion on light placement as the instructions are just photos but there are plenty of review videos online to help. The light studio is so compact when it is folded up. I have noticed such an improvement in my product photos. I currently have the studio set up on the floor because of lack of a table but it still works great. I have attached some photos to show the lighting. I also bought a poster board to use as a back drop to some photos.
