It works for heavy braking under low speed, weighted.
I had some horrible squeak on a new bike that I couldn't get rid of until I tried this product. A few light applications, cleaning the disc and allowing penetration on the brake pads and drying off with a clean microfiber towel helped. A few hard stops after and the dust was removed that caused the noise.

Brake rotor and pad cleaner
This product works great. Clean my rotors and brake pads really well. I haven’t written it yet, but will try it tomorrow. Maybe I’ll write another review later but so far, works excellent. E-bikes are known for their heavyweight. My bike weighs 70 pounds. So I’ll find out soon.

Works
Four stars because the cleaner worked and made my disc brakes slightly less squeaky. Minus one star for how unnecessarily complex it was to fit the spray top on the bottle.

Ehh. Not great really
So I was using isopropyl alcohol but read the reviews and gave this a try. The bottle leaks and although it has a stop lock on the spray trigger it comes lose from the bottle so bottom line it kept leaking out into the drawer where I keep all my bike lubes and bottles. Performance-wise it cleans but I actually think the alcohol worked just as well and for half the price.

Wow, this stuff actually works!
I sprayed liberally on my disc brakes; rotors (both sides) and into the brake pads. Not sure if that was what I was supposed to do, but I did. I took a towel and cleaned off the rotors and repeated. Brakes were real quiet and were very responsive. If it still squeaks a little, clean the rotors again. I use my fat bike along the beach where there is salt air and probably doesn't help the situation. This quieted them down. Real happy so far.

great product. sturdy. Easy to use. worth having. I use on my mountain bike. It handles the rough terrain.

no freebie here just my honest review. Breaks were so noisy. Sprayed this on, let sit, took bike out and no more noise. Its been a month and no future noise either.

Different Product Appearance
I got my cleaner in the mail and the product came in a dark bottle and what looked like a home made label... hard to tell if I got what I bought through Amazon. Product smells similar to nail polish remover, have yet to really put it to the test. Skeptical on this buy.
