I purchased this table and received it promptly but a significant piece, a branch that had a bird on it, was broken off. The company very quickly sent another one and picked up the damaged table at no cost to me. However, the second table was also damaged. A piece of a branch was broken off. The company I purchased from offered a 15% discount. I think the discount should have been more, which I believe would have been, if the item were purchased at a store. The reason the table broke in the box, is that it is not protected for shipping. It is merely in a large plastic bag in a cardboard box. The glass table top is wrapped and in a smaller flat box that is taped to the side of the table. Both times, it was unharmed. If there were padding, at least a little bubble wrap around the table, it might have been delivered in one piece. The table itself is very pretty but it would be a lot nicer if it came in one unbroken piece.
