Another great entry in the series! Perfect for age 7-10 readers.
My daughter got sucked in this series of books a few months ago, and has been clamoring to read them as fast as possible. All of the books in this series are perfect for kids ages 7-10. Mine is currently 8 and has no problems reading through the books in this series. The story is very cute and age appropriate in content, and in difficulty. Can't recommend them enough. You can find the first books of the series here:https://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Masters-Books-Tracey-West/dp/B07NWY8MV7/

Great early chapter books
My son loved these in 2nd grade. They are great early chapter books. They are interesting (dragons!), show team work and problem-solving, and have many pictures. Now my son is ready for more advanced "middle grade" books and has told me he has outgrown these. They were well liked for a while and helped turn him into an avid reader. Let kids read interesting, even dreaded "twaddle", books as long as the morals are good. Then they learn that not only CAN they read, but they LIKE to read! That's when you can advance to "better" books. Early chapter books like this are priceless in helping kids make that leap.

Engaging book series for young readers
This is the first book series my son fell in love with! He didn’t like to read and would give me such a hard time. but as a teacher by profession, I didn’t give up. I knew if I could find a book series that engaged him, he would learn to love to read. I read the first couple books in this series aloud to him. My first grader was hooked. We read the next books together, taking turns reading aloud. He now devours them quickly. He can’t wait until the next book comes out. He just finished second grade and still loves this series.

Golden and silver keys mysteriously disappear. 😮
My child likes the entire series, this is book 13. Even though there's many chapters, they need to be longer. My child also liked the earthquake dragon because it looks friendly and does not mean any harm. It looks cool because its eye is the color of it's scales.

A hit! A big hit!
My students love this series (2nds). There is a wait list for several books in the series. I had to get them all and they still clamor for those to be published soon!

Our kids LOVE the Dragon Master's book series
We needed a good "first chapter" series with lots of pictures as for bedtime routine as picture books just became rather expensive. So I searched the internet and came across the recommendation for Scholastic's Dragon Masters book series. They LOVE all the characters/dragons in the books and love guessing what each person can do and what powers the dragons have.Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Unfortunately not all the books are available for Amazon Kindle, so some books we had to buy as hard paper and we are running out of space in our bookshelves as we have sooo many books, so we prefer electronic copies. Electronic copies also allow us to share it onto their Amazon Fire tablets for kids.Again, LOVED by all of our kids and we have different ages and grasp of the world. Unfortuantely we have read ALL the books available and now have to wait until March 2021 until the next book comes out.

Another excellent read in the dragon masters series!
Wow this book marks the 21st time I have read a Dragon Masters Book. I can easily state that as a family we really love these books! A few years ago, I read the first eight books of this series to my son. Then his interest was drawn away. My youngest daughter really enjoyed them and the three of us read them, she listened to her brother or I read. This year my youngest has been reading them to me. She gets a little frustrated that I have not read ahead now, because it often means she reads an extra chapter or two because I cannot tell her what is about to happen. This year we also found out that my nephew has been reading them and was only 1 book ahead of us. He is reading the physical books and We are reading the eBook editions. This is a great story in a wonderful series. My youngest daughter is insistent that we will read the whole series. And she has spent her reading challenge money buying all the kindle editions that are available. Including Griffin’s Guide for Dragon Masters.I have said it before, and I state it again, ‘this series really has staying power’. I have read some of the stories 4 or 5 times now. And have been reading them for over 4 years. And I still enjoy the stories as do my children. My son who thought he had outgrown these stories has been sitting in and listening to his sister read them to me again lately. It is also great to know that my brother’s family loves them as much as ours. It is fascinating to watch the kids interact and compare notes about the books that they are both reading. And to predict what will happen next based on the endings of the book, or title of the next as we queue it up. And when we started this one she read well beyond her daily required reading time. One of the best things about this series is that it is a true series. In that each story builds upon the next. The stories are strong enough to be read on their own, but as a whole we get to watch the growth of the group as they come together as a team and learn to work together and support each other. And we see some characters come in and out of the stories. And in this one we meet new dragon masters and their legendary dragon Naga the earthquake dragon. He is so large and powerful he has two dragon masters. And you will find out more about them by reading this story. The next battle with Maldred the evil wizard takes place, and there are some surprises instore for us and the dragon masters we are reading about. This is the first volume illustrated by Daniel Griffo. I believe the fifth illustrator so far for the series. The illustrations keep a consistent feel and look. But Each artist leaves their own mark on the books they work on. Some illustrations stand alone and some wrap around the text and span two-page spreads. And my daughter absolutely loved the cover of this one. This is another excellent read in a great series. These are fun books for young readers, but also entertaining enough for older readers. I am continually impressed with the staying power of this series. After multiple reads over several years I still really enjoy returning to the Dragon Masters. And look forward too many more reads in this series, as my daughter is insistent, she will read them all to me! And she insisted we give it 5/5 stars! A great read in a great series!

Never too old to enjoy these
My niece started reading this series when she was very young. Now that she’s 11 she’s moved on to longer novels and more mature content, BUT she still waits for the next book in this series and eats it up in half an hour! Apparently she’s not growing out of these...
