This is the real thing - super cool and totally authentic! Premium High Quality Weight And Feel We have been searching for Aviator mirror glasses with REAL GLASS lenses for years and we have secured a limited supply of these totally authentic 70s Style sunglasses. The silver mirror lens has exactly the same degree of high reflectivity seen in the original 70s mirror Aviators - total sun protection for your eyes - to be used on the brightest of sunny days . . and nobody can see which way you are looking! The Classic original Aviators were first introduced by Ray Ban, originally for use by pilots but since then they have undergone many design modifications and by the 1970s the Aviator had evolved into something new, the classic shape and mirror lens was the iconic 70s style. The style has been popular since the 1960s, but became even more so in the 1980s following pop culture icon Michael Jackson, and later use by celebrities in films like Top Gun, where Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise sported them. Sylvester Stallone wears this brand of sunglasses in his 1986 action film Cobra. * DISTORTION FREE REFLECTIVE GLASS LENS * INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE - WEAR FOR HOURS * 70s CLASSIC REBORN - ICONIC AND ULTRA COOL * CHROME SILVER ALL-METAL HIGH QUALITY FRAMES * FULL NO QUIBBLE 12 MONTH WARRANTY INCLUDED * ONE SIZE FITS ALL * PAPER TAGS INCLUDED * GENUINE GLASS LENSES - NOT PLASTIC * ROBUST AND DESIGNED TO LAST FOR YEARS * LUXURIOUS SMOOTH FINISH * PROTECTIVE AND STYLISH EYEWEAR * FULL UV PROTECTION * MICROFIBER CLEANING CLOTH INCLUDED * SEMI-HARD BLACK LEATHERETTE CASE INCLUDED * PREMIUM QUALITY LOOK AND FEEL * AVIATOR STYLE WORN BY PILOTS, POLICE AND THE MILITARY Review: Awesome glasses, not every review I read was entirely accurate... - I don't usually write a lot of reviews for products, but I read a ton of reviews before buying anything; thus, I felt like this review was needed. Frankly, I think the bad reviews are misrepresenting this product in many ways. Sure, the bad reviews where the glasses were received scratched would merit a bad review, but that should be against the seller more than the product. Mine, however, were not scratched in any way when I received them. They were in perfect condition. The reviews stating how these glasses are "too large" with the inclusion of "...and I have a big head..." were a little unnerving, but I thought I'd buy them anyway. The thing is that these glasses claim to be 70s style aviators, and if you know anything about that style or have ever seen them, you would know that they are a little larger than most other glasses. That IS, in fact, part of the retro style of these glasses. Frankly, it has nothing to do with how big of a head you have, it has more to do with the shape of your face, among a few other things. I will fully grant that these glasses won't look just great on everyone, but no good pair of glasses may ever make that claim. Yes, these glasses are just a tiny bit larger than my other aviator pairs, but for me, that works, it's awesome and the style is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Furthermore, although I am not a small person, neither do I, nor do others I know, believe I have an overly "large head." However, my wife tried them on, who happens to be a smaller person in many respects, and yes, they did look a little comical. Frankly, my OTHER aviators almost look just as comical on her as well, so it is hardly fair to write these glasses off as a bad product. John Lennon style glasses, although awesome, look comical on me, but quite nice on my wife. Whether a pair of glasses look wrong on you or not is a problem of your own individuality, NOT the product. As to the quality, I believe for what I paid for them, I received my money's worth with a little more. They're not that much heavier than plastic lens glasses and when on, I don't really notice the weight. I will say that these glasses are quite a bit darker than most other pairs of sunglasses I've owned, but not too dark either. All in all, if you are looking for a retro-style pair of aviators (and can pull that style off), these fit the bill perfectly as long as you remember that due to the human condition of individuality, these may not work for you. Review: No Remorse! - Ladies & Gentleman, I would like to begin by first recommending these glass to EVERYONE. As long as you are an aviators fan, even the slightest, you will not regret purchasing a pair of these babies. To me, aviators never go out of style and the fact that these glasses have real glass lenses (giving them some good weight) makes them perfect for me and rather rare nowadays. The look, feel, and quality is superb for the value, but you will have to see and experience them for yourselves. ;) Now, let me tell you about Simon Harris, the designer of these glasses. First of all, Simon provides excellent craftsmanship and customer service! My girlfriend broke my first pair because she hugged me so tightly after having not seen me in a week, and since I liked these glasses so much, I unsurprisingly purchased another pair. I found out recently that my second pair had a slight defect and I told Simon about it. I remember that the page stated that there was a One-Year Full Warranty that comes with these glasses and I explained to him the situation. His response? Another pair was sent on their way to me, for FREE, without requiring me to return the slightly defected pair to him. How... much... more... awesome... could... this... get? The first pair were perfectly fine, mind you. B) If you have the $$$, you are always out in the sun, and you want to look good while you are out there, get these aviators! One thing though, I think that these glasses are made for those of us with more of a head and a face because the lenses are pretty "old-school" big, and the frame a little wider than your average pair of sunglasses. :)

Looks and feels GREAT
I just purchased these a few days ago, and they arrived incredibly fast. I confirmed my order in the early evening, and had the package at my door a day and a half later. To be honest, I'm not much of a sunglasses guy. I'm in my early 20's, and can count the number of sunglasses I've owned in my life on one hand, and still have a couple piggies to spare. I have, however, always liked the aviator style, and the mirrored lens look awesome, so I set out to buy a pair for myself. These sunglasses look really cool and feel great. The lens have no distortion and are dark, but not dark enough to prevent me from using them while driving. I also thought they would be a lot heavier than they really are, considering they're real glass lens, but they're actually quite comfortable. They sit secure on my nose, but they do leave a small indentation from the nose piece after wearing them for a while. The frame feels very sturdy, including the nose piece, which was a concern I had after reading hundreds of reviews on cheap $2-$5 aviators, and how they would easily fall off. I have no worries about these aviators breaking due to cheap construction. There were only a couple down-sides to the pair of aviators I received. First off, there were a couple small scratches on the mirrored lens (I may post pictures later). I can deal with them since they aren't big enough to make a fuss over, and demand a return. I'm not sure if they were packaged scratched, or got scratched during shipping, which leads to the second down-side. The glasses were shipped in basically a t-shaped piece of cardboard that was rolled up, with the glasses inside the case--a soft pouch that had a harder plastic on the inside. I would have felt like it would be more secure in a small cardboard box, in case of rough handling with the delivery services. However, judging from the other reviews, only one person had a real problem with rough handling, so perhaps the strip of cardboard and the sunglasses case is sufficient. Overall, these sunglasses are a great product if you're looking for a good set of aviators that don't cost a bill and a half for a name brand. They're comfortable, look great, and durable. For being my first item that I've ever bought on Amazon, I would recommend this product to anyone who is tired of breaking cheap, plastic aviators, and want a pair that will last.
