House Again Tea Ball Infuser & Cooking Infuser, Extra Fine Mesh Tea Infuser Threaded Connection 18/8 Stainless Steel with Extended Chain Hook to Brew Loose Leaf Tea, Spices & Seasonings

This is well made from strong stainless steel, and the lid when screwed on makes this infuser, very sturdy and knock resistant. Since the tannin in tea will colour the infuser brown over time, it is handy just to pop it into a mild solution of bleach and water, for it to come out gleaming! In use, this infuser will accommodate around three tea-spoons of tea, but be aware that dry tea expands when wet and hot! The size of the perforations are just right, allowing room for the trapped air inside to escape, but not the tea-leaves. However fine tea dust will find a way through, so I find it best to shake the infuser over the tea caddy/bag, before putting it into a cup or tea-pot. The stainless chain is long enough for securing to any mug/cup/tea-pot and the stainless resting dish is a real boon. All-in-all I highly recommend it, and yes, I would be happy to buy another if I needed one. CONS: It's a little pricey compared to some others...but it is quality!

Have been using a ball infuser and was getting fed up with the amount of loose tea that escaped. I currently use a combination of tea bags and loose tea but will soon be using just loose tea and therefore wanted a better infuser. This fits the bill perfectly no more loose tea escaping, easier to fill (also can hold more if you want to make more than a cup/mug) Great to have a little saucer to put infuser on while it cools down before emptying. A great all round product

Nice bit of kitchen equipment. Easy to disassemble and clean and refill. Very neat and comes with drip saucer. Has a very fine mesh so no tea leaves could escape. Worked fine with one teaspoon of tea leaves in a cup or mug. Not so good with 3 or more teaspoons in a tea pot, as once the diffuser and tea leaves were damp no more water could get through the mesh and so the tea did not brew- hence the slightly reduced overall rating. Have reverted back to tea leaves and a strainer.

Lovely tea strainer that keeps all the tea leaves inside and brews great tea with loose tea leaves easily. The "mesh" is very fine and it's sturdy metal. I use the Whittards tea leaves with this and it works a charm. Just remember to hook the end on the side of your mug or teapot as the strainer does tend to float and you may find it hard to fish out otherwise.

Delighted with this product, and I’ve been enjoying loose leaf tea instead of tea bags for a couple of weeks now. Same brand of tea but seems to taste much better. Ideal for brewing in a mug or teapot. My only suggestion would be to add some weight to the bottom so that it doesn’t float up and turn on its side. But that is just aesthetics, and makes no difference to the performance. The hook on the chain works well to keep it in place, and the drip tray is a nice touch too. All in all a great little buy.

This was a great little tea infuser and I was quite pleased with it. However after two months of use, the pores are clogged and the infuser isn't working well. I boiled it in water and scrubbed with soap. I think I have been maintaing it reasonably well. Not sure if the inevitable has happened or if I did something wrong

Easy to use and clean, filters even the smallest tea leaves. I’m using it for making green tea from loose leaves in a small teapot and the result is consistently good.

I usually drink tea, and it's my first time to try tea infuser. First, it is quite cheap. The infuser is also very tiny, which can be put into almost every cups. Using it is very easy, and cleanning it is very convenient. I recommend this product. It is worthy to try.

Recent recipes we've used required using baby leaves to cook in a pot and I'm not a fan of picking out bits of leaves in my food so I purchased this to use to hold the bay leaves in the pot and when done cooking you simply remove the container, dump out the leaves, clean it and use it again next time! Works just as intended and is a good value for the money. The top screws on and off easily and has a hook to drop into any pot or mug when making food or tea or coffee so itxs easy to grab the hook and remove the container. The little metal pan it comes with is nice to set it on the counter to keep from dripping so you can come back to it after enjoying food or a drink and clean later. Would buy again if needed!

Bought this two years ago, used it everyday since, it still looks like new (attached pictures are the product after 2 years of daily uses). It does get stained with tea with time, but it goes away with a good scrub. No rust at all. The holes are very tiny so the tea leaves don't get into the tea. I attached a key ring on it so it's easier to use. I love that little thing. I recommend!
