MINORITY Downhill Maple Longboard 40-inch Drop Deck (Koifish) : desertcart.in: Sports, Fitness & Outdoors Review: First skateboard I rode in 50 plus years. Big difference from steel skates nailed to a picket fence.Out of the box the board was great; nice graphics, big, wide soft wheels. Others have mentioned the trucks are stiff and the wheels don't roll freely. That can be fixed by loosening truck and wheel nuts. Anyway, at 66, I'm glad the board was not set up for max performance. At 180 lbs I found the board to be really flexy. The ride was responsive and easy to slalom down roads. The second time out, I rode down a bike path. To avoid oncoming walkers, I steered into the grass. It was a little bumpy, the board flexed and then cracked (see photos). I glued and clamped it, but the cracks opened the second I stood on the board. If you weigh 150 lbs or less and you are a beginner to intermediate, this board is a super value. If you weigh 180 or more, the flex will eventually weaken and break the layers of plywood. This was not the sellers fault. Hong Henry contacted me prior to the crack to see how the board was performing. I've never had a seller ask me for my opinion so that meant a lot. Next project; Home Depot for a 1' X 6" to slap these trucks on Review: Last year the decks was a drop through and the trucks came through the ends of the board as well as it was at high as a curb. So I added $70 in parts to make it taller than my foot and ride like a mountain board with 80mm wheels. This year I see the trucks I added were pre added, and new wheel design. Board has always had a crack or dent but that’s how shipping can be. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOARD. Before you ask what happened to my old board, the exceeded weight limit is 210lb to jump on without any worries, this was tested thanks to a friend of 230lb jumping on my board to got for a cruise but instead kissed the asphalt.

I bought this board on a whim a couple of months ago and it's incredible. I learned very quickly, as the board is stable but flexible enough to maneuver very easily. The design is stunning and very easy to clean. Overall, an incredible board, even for someone who has never used a longboard before!

I love this board, and I know some people had issues with this board cracking, but if you’re just using it for cruising and you’re under 175lbs you should be fine. I definitely recommend adding riser pads because your board will crack eventually without them. Also helps with absorbing shock and adds maneuverability.

The board looks very nice. I ordered one for my 12 year old son who is a beginning longborder. It did not get any extraordinary use. Just going up and down the street in front of the house. He's an extremely cautious boy. So there were no tricks or anyting. The first time it hit a curb, it cracked in the front. We returned it and got a second one. Under the exact same circumstances, but with even less use, the exact same thing happened. So, my conclusion is that this is not a decent quality longboard and no matter how many I buy, they'll probably break. What a disappointment.
