Hetty Feather Kindle Edition

This book is very well written. My granddaughter, age 9, read it to me and I followed along with my own copy. She lives in England and I live in the USA. I was able to help her with the big words. If you are 9 or 99 you will like this book. Not many writers can write for many age levels and hold the interest of the reader but Jacqueline Wilson definitely has the gift. I loved this book.

I love reading anything that is interesting and doesn't have foul language. Ms Wilson is an incredible writer. I loved every one of the books and hope that I haven't missed any.

Left me wanting to read more about Hetty Feather. Wouldn't be amazing be able to remember being just a few days old and tell about it later in your life. You will love the fiery little redhead Betty. She is spunky , funny and fights for what she believes are the rights and fight against the wrongs whether it's done to her or someone else. Loved reading this book and look forward to reading part 2 :)

Fast-paced and well written. I found the content and writing quite mature for the age for which it was recommended. Ended up reading it aloud to third graders because even as guided reading it was a bit difficult.

My two daughters, 9.5 and 5.5 years, love this. After Winnie the Pooh, this is their new favorite. They are begging me to buy more. Interesting story and the reader makes Hetty come alive.

I love this book it is by far the best book I have ever seen and read! I am 10 years old and have never experienced such a great book! I recommend it to anyone who is interested in historical fiction or any girls between the ages of 9-12 and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with it!!!!!

Hetty Feather is a delightful character, her imagination keeps ones interest and wondering what will happen next. Her life is full of highs and lows, and also takes the reader back to a time and generation whose lives were harsh often contrasting the cruelty of mankind to the compassion of mankind.

The copy I received was in the format of a play script. Not sure if that is how it is supposed to be, but it's kind of hard for my daughter to read in that format.

I liked this story as it brings to life the activities of the children living in English orphanages in the late 1800's

Hetty Feather is quite a lucky girl because she is one of the few children in England that would have an education she was desperate to find her real mother and she finally finds her she is Ida (the kitchen maid).HOW I FOUND HETTY FEATHERIda is Hetty’s mum. Polly is Hetty’s friend.I really loved Hetty Feather because I kind of have the same personality as Hetty Feather and she reminds me of myself, my brother and my dad when we have our adventures, also she has a lot of exciting adventures.My Book Review Of Hetty FeatherI have read Hetty Feather and I think it was FAB because l could feel the emotions that all the characters felt and when I read it, and it's literally so-o touching and builds a good picture for the reader of what Hetty Feather has gone through in her life. Hetty Feather is a perfect book for children.People will love Hetty's twists and turns but Hetty is the one that actually stands out. Set out a lot of years back in time, the historical adventures are sure to make you read in wonder fascinated by Hetty's life. Jaqueline Wilson is a wonderful author for kids but adults can also enjoy her books too!Get drawn into the book with flower selling, riding on elephants and nearly meeting the queen!What else is there to say? Start reading this wonderful book(but I'm warning you, you can't put it down)!

Any Jacqueline Wilson book is good but this is by far the best, really a great read,Would recomment to anyone
