I’m a newbie to Irish flat caps. I’m an old guy now, but had one when I was 13 or something and loved it. An ad caught my eye and I became obsessed with them. I ended up buying a two pack and I love them! I have actually bought four others and they are all going back. These are the only ones that look good with my facial structure and fit the best. Not perfect, but okay.That’s the only negative for me. Evidently my size is right between a small and a large. Bought the large first and it felt just a little too loose. So I bought the small and they were a little too small and tight, so I am returning them and keeping the large. I got the two pack in gray and green. I have now worn them several times and if you play around with the Velcro strap, you can adjust the cap so it fits tight enough. It’s a nice feature and I’m discovering that not all caps have an adjustable band. But I think I would rather have elastic. The Velcro strap works okay and stays where you adjust it to, but it’s not quick and easy to make small adjustments for a perfect fit.I’ve seen others write that this is not a winter hat. I have nothing to compare it too, but I am warm and comfortable in mine in the cool weather we have here in Dallas. I don’t think I would want it any warmer.The cap looks good on my head. Some have been too small and “slim” looking and look like I’m wearing a little kid’s cap, and some have been too much fabric and look like a mushroom on the top of my head. For me, this brand and cut in the large seems just right.I like them so much I will probably buy one or two more. The only knock I have on them is that they don’t have an elastic head band. That seems to me to be the perfect solution to making the cap fit perfectly. So I ordered another brand (that cost almost three times as much) that is 100% Irish tweed wool and has an elasticized band. I haven’t gotten it yet, so we shall see if it was worth the higher price.But this brand looks good, fits my head well and compliments my facial structure nicely. The fabric looks like 100% wool and I think that, especially in Dallas weather, the polyester blend may be a bonus.Especially for the price, I don’t think you can go wrong so I recommend this brand for anybody. I think they’re fun and stylish and I’m definitely buying more 🙂.

I received lots of compliments on my new cap. It looks good on my big head. Speaking of big heads, the hidden adjustment band around the rim is a fabulous idea. I purchased the gray and brown caps. The gray is what garnered all of the compliments. It went well with my gray beard.The only concern that I had is that the fabric is thinner than I expected but once it went on my head, I forgot about it. I suppose a heavier fabric would be more expensive and the manufacturer wanted to keep the cost down. I suppose ;-] So, I gave 5 stars for a thin "summer" cap. It's still a nice cap. Winter or summer. I recommend this pair of caps regardless of the colors.

These hats are great! My husband is bald and he says the hats are very warm and comfortable to keep the top of his head cozy in the cold winter air. They look very handsome on, too. Nice fit and they can be easily adjusted with the strap on inside of hat. Very happy with the purchase!
