Cool toy
Love this cool little gadget. My husband doesn’t know about it and I’m just waiting for the day when he makes a comment about his chip bags being resealed after he thought he already opened them. HeheThe only con I have is that the prongs of the plug are smaller than standard so it always hangs out as it doesn’t not fit properly.

Took Some Time To Figure It Out
I like this little gadget, but it took some getting used to. There were basically no instructions about what types of plastics this would work on and I went through several plastic bags trying to figure this thing out. Finally, I looked through other Amazon reviews and found out that you have to use this quickly (like once it's fully heated you just snap it closed and let it open immediately). Turns out I was burning the plastic because I was holding it down. Maybe that's something that's obvious to others (hence no directions) but I was struggling! So even after figuring it out, it seems that it still gets a little too hot and there's no way to adjust it. Regardless, I've learned to make do and it works for it's intended purpose.I use mine to make daily vitamin pill packs that I take with me to work. I take gummy vitamins so doing this keeps them fresh! I know it's not great for the environment, but I make them small and really it's the only thing I've found that helps me be consistent as I'm usually rushing out the door.So despite taking some time to figure out, works for all intents and purposes.

Worked great on plastic lotion bottle!
Great little sealer. I was anxious to try but 50/50 on whether it would get hot enough to seal a plastic lotion bottle. Heated to 280F in about 2 mins. I made the first crimp, burned myself on the hot plastic and dropped the sealer :/ it was only a drop of maybe 6", but the little sealer is still intact and working. It's good to know it can handle normal stuff like that. The heat plate looks about 3" x 1/2". **Does not appear to be UL Listed**, so I'll be sure to unplug when I'm done. In the picture above, you can see the one tube I sealed and what it looked like open. The 242F shown in the picture is from after I unplugged it. Was 280F when I was using.

Works horribly.
Followed directions, let warm up 30-60 seconds. At 30 seconds was not hot enough, 45 still not hot enough around 1 min it was hot enough but apparently too hot. Should've just spent the extra money to get a better quality device.

It’s okay.
It works well with different plastics the only down side is there is only an off and on button and no way of adjusting the heat. So I found myself turning it on and off to be able to seal it right. If left on to long it completely melts/burns the cookie bags.. when done right it gives you a double deal protection unlike the non crimp sealers.

seals!
Have a large vacuum sealer. Throw sealed food in the fridge. Didn't want to pull out the vacuum sealer just to reseal the bag. This little guy works perfectly. Handy.

Fantastic!
I used this product to heat seal a plastic thingy. (I don't know what to call it) It works great in gets hot in close to 30 seconds, way better than any battery powered heat sealers. Tip: don't touch the hot white part, it hurts, alot!
