This cream is great. Smells nice and is easy to work with. You don’t need a lot either but that depends on how much hair you have. I keep mine pretty short so I don’t use a lot of the cream. The hold is just right and if my hair gets messed up for whatever reason, I can get my hands wet and run them over the hair and brush it again to make it look good. The residue washes off of my hands and out of my hair easily. For me, one tub can last 3-4 months. Also made in the USA! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I was a faithful American Crew forming cream customer for over 10 years. I recently attempted to replenish my supply through Amazon, but was put off by both the price & shipping time. I cancelled my order and decided to try Fix Your Lid forming cream. WOW! I’m impressed. It offers great value—quality at a much lower price than AC’s variant. The scent is fantastic, not as subtle as AC but veryyy satisfying to the nostrils. Its texture is a bit more firm than AC which I consider a positive in that it’s not as sticky. The presentation and hold have a “naturalness” which I really like—I would just recommend your hair be at least *slightly* wet when applying. However, dry application is still OK. All in all, I’m pleased to have found an economical replacement for American Crew without sacrificing anything noticeable in terms of quality. Consider me a Fix Your Lid kinda guy from now on!!

This is almost exactly like Cremo Styling Cream...even the smell. Works well, holds well....only complaint is I have some grey hair and the mat & lower shine creams make my hair look dull, grayer. I'm trying to find a replacement for Layright but haven't found one yet.

I've used D:fi D:struct for many years. This is definitely a comparable product at a cheaper price. It was a whim purchase the first time I bought it because the D:fi was selling at much higher price. Right now the 3.75oz product is $3 cheaper than the 2.65oz D:fi. I think it's a no brainer to make the switch to Fix Your Lid.
