After 30 years of enjoying a shell-filled lamp in my cottage bedroom, it fell apart one day when it was lifted for dusting. I had to find another, and found this online. It is a perfect size, very easy to assemble, although I admit the screws were a bit difficult to thread . One of the three screws never quite made it all the way in straight. But it appears solid and is very pretty with the shells that come with it and those I added from my previous lamp. A nice shade comes with it as well.

Beautiful lamp. You can fill it with whatever you wish. I filled mine with my dad’s antique marbles. It is colorful and holds wonderful memories!

It was perfect! The jar fit all my shells and the opening was big enough to put my whole hand through. I love it!

I searched online for glass fillable lamps and after researching at least 50 different ones, I chose this style. I bought 2 and I couldn't be more pleased with them. Their price is a nice middle ground, not too cheap and not too expensive. They are lovely and will match my bedroom beach house remodel perfectly. Number one reason I like these- you can fill them from the top so that your arrangement will stay the way you design it. Plus the opening on top was just large enough that my hand could fit inside, now I don't have big hands ( size 6 ring finger) but it worked out great for me. Also the brushed nickle lid for the light housing and harp fit over the outside lip of the glass jar base and it has three set screws that you can carefully tighten to hold it level and steady in place. Some of the other fillable lamps out there have a cork lid that slides down into the glass base and I found that the fit was uneven, the shade and light housing were too wobbly and easily moved when being turned on or off. Also there is no unsightly rod inside to get in the way as many similar lamps have. The shade is a nice, clean bright white color which I wanted to best co-ordinate with my bedding ensemble. The shells which come with these lamps were a cute extra touch too. I plan on layering some sand,( turquoise and natural,) some stone pebbles, then the shells mixed with some of my own from our recent trip to Florida. I would recommend these to a friend.

Exactly what I was looking for to put shells we collected in Boca Grande. Very clear glass to show them off and I love the square jar and the base. I wish they made one a little larger though.

Lamp came perfectly packaged and was easy to put together. Great addition to our guest room. Can be filled with anything.

These are expensive, but I love mine and would recommend them. I will fill them with memories of beach walks over time. It is like having a record of beachcombing, but in a beautiful display.

I had been searching for reasonably priced clear glass fillable lamps for quite some time both during and post-pandemic. With the price of all table lamps seeming to have gone through the roof, I scoured all sorts of websites, and managed to find this fillable lamp on amazon.ca, and though it was still expensive in my opinion, it wasn't as outrageously expensive as some sellers with identical products wanted. Anyway, I filled the two I bought with colourful buttons, instead of the seashells these lamps actually come with, and I found that they held ALOT of buttons, or anything else should I want to switch them out in the future (with shells, marbles, coins or whatever). What impressed me also, was the exceptional packing of every lamp component, so much so, that even though one of the boxes was indented from likely being thrown around during transit, the breakable parts inside were well insulated with surround styrofoam and all parts survived a rough USA to Canada journey. I'd buy these again, when overall prices of table lamps return to planet earth.
