CAPTAIN FAWCETT Private Stock Beard Oil, (50ml/1.7oz)

I have a sizeable beard that is wiry and thirsty all the time (more of a big military veteran beard than a hipster beard). I have tried lots of different oils and balms etc. Honest Amish has been my standard go to balm and oil for quite a while. I also have and use others for better scents. That said, this is hands down nothing even close my favorite. Amazing scent that lasts all day and evening. Wife, kids, and mom love it. I love it. It does an excellent job softening the coarse hairs on my face. I hesitate to write this review in fear that everyone will buy it all up. It's also a good buy it's a 2oz bottle. Highest recommendation!!

I was surprised at how pleasant the smell was and I constantly get compliments on how good I smell once I dab some on. This is great because one or two dabs should be enough to cover your beard.

To be fair to the company, this beard oil is simply not to my taste. It appears to be a quality product. However, it is quite potent for what it is. You'll wind up smelling like a walking essential oils dispenser, which is not what I expected or wanted given that sweet almond oil is listed as one of the main ingredients. Disappointing given that it's also on the pricier side. It may be worth noting that the bottle was clear, not tinted as shown in the picture. Overall: 2 out of 5 stars.

Very quickly, this oil became one of the two daily drivers for me. I use it intermittently with the Rufus Hounds' one, I think it's called Triumphant. Like with all other Captain Fawcett's products, the packaging just spells "luxury" and reels you in. I now uave an entire collection of empty beard oil bottles in my bathroom, as a testament to how pretty the little boxes are. The smell is just fantastic! Of course, it's very subjective, so you'll need to try and see whether it works for you. My wife keeps saying she's been thinking of buying this for herself, to use as in-promptu perfume. Highly recommended!

Das Öl hat ein sehr angenehmes Gefühl im Bart und auf der Haut. Es ist nicht so "schwer" und schmierig wie es viele andere Bartöle sind. Der Bart fühlt sich super leicht und weich an ohne zu fettig zu wirken. Noch besser ist allerdings der super einzigartige Duft des private stock Öls. Sehr männlicher, herber und trotzdem angenehm frischer Duft. Erinnert an ein Herrenzimmer mit gedämpftem Licht, Ledersesseln, Zigarren und Whisky. Am besten gefällt mir das es keine süßliche Note hat, die mich bei anderen Ölen sehr stört. Alles in allem das beste Öl das ich je benutzen durfte!

Ich trage meinen Bart an den Seiten recht kurz und mit Übergang zum Kinn auf bis etwa 5cm. Die Flasche reicht damit für ca. 12 Monate. Für mich das beste Bartöl, mit tollem Geruch und dem Vorteil, dass man es nach ein paar Anwendungen nicht einmal täglich nutzen muss. Mit anderen Ölen hatte ich im Laufe des Tages schon ein unangenehmes Bartgefühl. Leider ist es etwas teuer und die Nutzung mit de Pipette finde ich unpraktisch, weshalb ich das Öl in einen Dosierspender umgefüllt habe
