I was born and raised in Mexico City, at age 27. I moved to Miami, before I’ve tried different brands of tortillas and never liked them, to the point that every time that someone came from Mexico I’ve asked them to bring me as many tortillas as the could, I’ve used to freeze them so they last longer.But now, with “El Milagro” corn tortillas, not anymore, like the name indicates it’s a Miracle!!! Even when I have visitors from Mexico, they say they they are even better that the one’s that they buy in the Supermarkets. This are the real deal.As you can see in the picture sometimes they come paper wrapped and sometimes in plastic, I prefer them in plastic because they don’t dry in the cooler and or freezer. But do not worry if you receive them in paper. Just keep them inside a plastic bag (you can even use the grocery bags) to keep them fresh. If you are not from Mexico and want to experience the real deal, try them and invite your Mexican friends over for tacos, they will be amazed, because any good taco begins with the tortilla!!!

These are probably the best no preservative tortillas available. I’ve ordered from ventas365 and lately from Little Village LLC and both vendors deliver fresh tortillas with very fast shipping. I order 24 at a time and freeze for long term storage. The trick is to cut a slit in the top of the bag so the air is removed when sealing, then drop in a quart size vauum bag (available in bulk on Amazon) and vacuum seal. Once thawed overnight in the fridge, they are like new even months later. If you seal the bag close to the top, you can reuse it again for tortillas, and then again after that for smaller items like bags of nuts.
