Great Product,they fit perfectly. Well worth the money. Would recommend!

Paint matched well, easy to install (2 hours maybe), fit well, look good. My only "complaints" are that I cut down the 4 bolts for the brackets because they were too long and stuck out, and that the lids don't always close perfect. They latch and lock just fine, but every now and then I notice one corner didnt seat quite right. It has no affect on anything, and you can't tell unless you're me and notice it. For the price, my only real complaint is that I didn't do this when i bought my bike.

These are great bags. They fit perfect on my '05 Harley Softtail. They look nice. They're solid. And they're beautiful. Highly recommend.

having problems with returning item. 2 boxes only recieved 1 label ups will not except unless each box has a label. i have e-mailed XFMT told them why it doesn't fit and that i donot wish make changes in order to make these bags fit ,so i would like to return them ,i have called customer service 3 time same answer you can return with only 1 label . lie ups drop off will not except

Why did you pick this product vs others?: So far I like the product but there were a few discrepancies that one should anticipate. Pros: 1) Parts arrived a day early 2) Beyond an excessive amount of extra parts to accommodate almost every bike it fits on. Over all great product. Still need to test it's roadworthiness once I can get it to work properly. Cons: 1) Does not come with instructions. You're expected to have basic mechanical skills and common sense. Which I do, but we all know most people these days don't have common sense. So navigating through all the necessary parts, sifting through what's essential vs what's not wastes a lot of time. Having to go through and organize pieces, making sure the right parts get washers and bolts while others didn't. 2) The review I read said simple install, 15-20 minutes. I blew past that by a long shot. Took me nearly four hours. 3) The welded anchor bracket was cut short and welded/installed wrong. I ended up needing to cut part off to allow these locking nuts i purchased to fit. Then the locking bolt wouldn't fit thrift the adjustable slit grove. 4) Left saddlebag lock does not lock or latch. Reached out to company requesting replacement parts, waiting in response. Readjusted locking pivoting arm, nothing. Made sure it had contact and arm would slip out from latch and pop open.

The quality of the boxes were as expected. The paint is great in Vivid Black. I had to adjust the latches to get them to lock properly. Don’t leave your boxes unlocked because the latch will pop back up. Overall, the boxes are good... However, the brackets to hold them on the bike leave something to be desired. The mounting holes did not line up on the left side of the bike at all... About 3/8” off center... So I had to slot the holes... The lower hole that connects to the footpeg didn’t line up because of too much bend in the bracket frame. I was able to push and pull a bit to get it in place, but it took two people. On the right side of the bike, everything on the bracket frame lined up perfect. But the spacer brackets kept popping out of the box because the little dinky keeper pins are not made to hold the stress... I drilled holes in them and used a hairpin cotter pin instead... Amazon should get in touch with the manufacturer about quality control...

Fit was great. Might of had to push a little here and there but it fit and the bags are on. The paint is really nice too. I got the black mounts and the saddlebags did not come with speaker lids like some people keep saying but thats fine i don’t listen to music when im riding. I had a question about installation and the company got right back to me on a saturday. There is a lot of people saying they had to bend the brackets and reem out holes but on my 2002 heritage softail i did not have those problems. The only problem i have is my turn signals. Like it says you need a turn signal relocation bracket. So now i am looking for different turn signals. I also included a bunch of pictures of the bags installed. Any questions just ask. AND NO i don’t work there and i bought my bags like everyone else does. For less than $300 you get some nice stuff.

I had to modify the brackets to work on my softail slim, because these were designed to bolt right onto a heritage . But the end result was amazing for only 430$ as opposed to the 1000$ Harley wanted for a set of soft bags that are half the capacity .

Best investment I've ever made. It took a while longer than the promised delivery date but well worth every penny. The parcel arrived well packed to prevent transport damage. The finish on the saddle bags were flawless. Installation took approximately 1 hour. If a fellow biker is looking for an accessory that requires just assembly this is your choice. I highly recommend this complete kit.
