Effective replacement and light source.
Good quality, solid exterior and easily manipulated into and out of the brass socket. Brighter than the 18W bulb it replaced but does not get nearly as hot inside its plastic enclosure. Very satisfied with its value.

Good and bright!
Works well, lasts a long time. Our last LED bulbs lasted us 8 years before dimming to the point we needed new ones. Well worth the money in heat/electricity savings, brightness, and longevity.

Safety issue?
Used for outdoor lamp in front yard. Have a step-down transformer from 120 volt AC to 24 volt DC that is connected to this system. Installed the bulbs today, switched on and the bulbs flickered like crazy. Very bright light but the continuous flickering made me very concerned for a potential fire hazard. Turned the lights off & now wondering whether these bulbs are a safety issue?

Not for 24V
I bought these because they stated they work for either 12/24V. I have a 24V Toyota, and one of them didn’t even stay working for the day. They had a nice brightness, and I’m sure they would be fine in a 12V system, but they do not work with 24V systems.
