I was looking for this type sfic and I purchased one. Thank you. However, a couple of weeks later I purchased a second one and I received the exact same one, keyed alike, although I didn’t purchase in bulk. Simple mistakes happen. Can we please figure out how I can receive one that is keyed differently? Other than that, it is a quality item.

its fine for a one off lockset
it seems closeish in quality to a real best core, but has some differences here and there. the bitting on the keys i got is kinda mid for pick resistance it doesnt really match a 626 lock in colour despite claiming satin finish. (dexter c1000) it also sits a bit proud of the lock handle, ~0.3mm or so, again a bit mid considering the lockset its in

Deceptive advertising
Quality of the core seems ok so far, but the pictures and description are deceptive. The picture shows a properly bitted key and the description says they will be keyed-alike if ordering multiples. Neither of these things are true, well almost. These cores are pinned to pretty much the equivalent of a 0-bitted construction core and should not be used as is without having a proper locksmith re-pin and originate new keys for it or get it pinned to an existing system. You can find name brand, uncombinated cores on other sites for half the price of these and save yourself money.

this lock works - no other parts ship with it you will need to make sure you can get the part that turns the cylinder (it is keyed to construction key)

Good security, easy installation
Good value, I put it in an Abus 83ic/45 and it fit like a charm, and despite having a simple bidding as it is keyed for construction it is still remarkably secure
