Kombucha SCOBY

Ordered this shortly after the lockdown was lifted and this is a perfect way to keep myself occupied. In fact, it's an amazing activity you can do with friends and family. Personally I had heard a lot about Kombucha, but never tasted it and I was surprised to find such an amazing kit with all the tools required to get started. Within a week I gifted a friend the same kit and even he's loving it! Pros: - Superb customer support (more on this below) - Amazing packaging, bubble wrap used generously to protect the goods. - All tools you need (which are otherwise difficult to find included) such as a large glass jar, stick-on thermometer, and of course the scoby - Flip top/Grolsch bottles included. These bottles are necessary because they're the only type of bottles that actually create a good seal to keep the fizz in. - Includes small samples of tea/sugar to get an idea of what needs to be used - Health Scoby. Scoby makes the difference between a good vs. bad experience, and the scoby provided was super active. Output was amazing. - Instructions are detailed to get you started, but if you can reach out to their support if you have any issue. Cons: - Literally nothing. Nada. Talking about the customer support, it's available on Whatsapp and it's managed by this awesome person. She was highly responsive and helpful and guided me through the process. Everytime I reached out (and I reached out multiple times), she was always super helpful, I felt I would've tired her with my constant questions but she's super passionate about this and is dedicated to making our experience great. In fact, when I received my package, the lid for the jar had a cracked, and she right away replaced it (well as soon as courier services resumed, but I didn't even have to remind her about this). Frankly, I have never come across such wonderful after sale support. You really have to go for it to know what I am talking about here!

I bought this kombucha for my sister and for 1850 , it is value for money believe it , not only it states amazing and you can customise your own flavour to your kombucha , it's extremely healthy too and the sciby can be used over and over again and new scoby grows with every brewing , this is lifetime supply of your favourite drink for 1850 . The packing is so good and it has a lot of items inside the jar . The certificate for scoby adoption is cutest . Overall a very good experience with this product . It's perfect gift for someone who loves kombucha

The starter kit provides all the basics needed for the starting your fermentation project for Kombucha making. The 1 star down is for the bottles. I got red bottles which are not even flip top bottle a bit let down but addition of the tea and sugar although each to get is a very thoughtful addition. And giving a large jar is also a big plus.

The product is ok, but the price of this package is ridiculous. Buy everything individually and you can save a lot. (>700rs) Scoby with starter tea - 600rs 5l bottle 200rs 2 500ml bottle 250rs around 400g sugar - 30rs few packs of tea dust - 50rs 1 seave - 40rs 1 cloth cover - 30rs paper thermo meter 150rs All this will cost you MAXIMUM around 1300Rs. - The 500ml bottle looks sturdy but it had lots of micro cracks and both Brocken after a bit of my mom's handling!. - No one messaged me or anything with any advice, I had to brew it myself 100%. And yes the first kombucha brewing may be intimidating and you may want to get everything like I did together, but you are then wasting a lot of money on sub par equipments. And 1ce you do it you will understand its pretty easy and straight forward. Bottom-line is only thing of value in this kit was that kombucha scoby and starter tea which you can get for 500-600rs.

The kombucha deluxe kit is the perfect starter kit for any home brewer. After having and heard about kombucha for the first time I was keen on procuring more of it and that's when I realised I could brew this at home as well. That's where I stumbled on this product and trust me it doesn't get easier than this. The instructions are crystal clear and if followed correctly then you have no trouble at all. The super friendly customer support team on whatsapp is the icing on the cake. Very patient and super helpful through any step in the process. You absolutely cannot go wrong in the brew process with them helping you out. I'm currently on my third batch of brewing and I still reach out to them for help in experimenting with the brew process. The kombucha starter and scoby provided was very healthy and as you can see in the pics I have some very healthy scobies myself. The pics are from my 2nd and 3rd batch. Without any doubt go for the kit if you're a first time brewer and you'll love the process.

The batch I brewed with scoby received from Zoh Probiotics turned out to be contaminated and had mold in it. Just to save their refund amount, the customer support team put the blame on me for not following procedures as per them. I have a brewing degree and am well aware of the measurements, hygiene, etc. I have successfully brewed batches previously. The hiccup was in their intention. Not at all happy. Buy it on your risk.

Excellent kit. It has everything you want. The cherry on top is the customer support. I had several doubts and they cleared it all. Highly recommended.
