I love it!!!
This is a well made solid machine, easy to assemble, very quiet and fun to use! My husband used a Nu Step in rehab and we wanted something similar without spending the $5K a Nu Step would have cost. After doing our research we opted for this machine and are glad we did. While he was assembling (which took him about two hours) he pointed out the bearings, hardware, etc that were of higher quality than we've seen in other items he's assembled.I've been using the same treadmill for 20 years and keep the volume on the radio up in order to hear it over the noise of the treadmill. The Cardio Strider is so quiet there's no need to blast the radio. This machine makes no noise. A big plus to me.I wasn't sure how much of a workout something like this would give you, but turns out it does more than I expected. The seat is comfortable allowing for a longer workout. I adjust the position of my arms to work different muscles and can increase stress level as well. And I can definitely feel it when I get done.If you're considering this and have the extra money to spend (as compared to some other equipment), I say go for it. You won't regret it!

Best Investment Ever!!
Like many of the other reviewers, I used the NuStep in cardiac rehab. It was my go to exercise machine! I was thrilled when I found an affordable machine (though still a considerable investment). After I read the many positive reviews, I decided to take the plunge. And I love it! It is well built and quiet. 30 minutes of exercise go by so much quicker than on the treadmill or recumbent bike. It is well worth the money! I also found that the customer service at TreadLife Fitness is great. The rubber cover on one of the handles was split when it came. I contacted the seller and asked if it could be replaced. They happily shipped me a new handle. I highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a good upper and lower body workout that doesn't strain your back and knees.

I like the concept of the recumbent bike especially
I have never written a review but I have to speak out to future buyers of this recumbent bike. I like the concept of the recumbent bike especially, after my Total Knee Replacement. I used the NuStep while in Physical Therapy and they are a little pricey so I decided to look for another pedal push recumbent bike. I found this one on Amazon I purchased the bike and have had nothing but trouble with the console, cable, and motor sensor. The console has been replaced 3 times the 3-5 feet cable from the console to the motor has been replaced along with the motor sensor. The console still is defective or has software bugs in the programming of the console. I have had the service technician to my home several times to replace parts. I requested a refund from the company and they closed my request stating I was over the return period. If the bike is defective why is there a 30-90 day return period so that means you are stuck with a defective bike after the 90 days. I rode the bike this morning and the console was blank except the Time and Tension the console completely shut down in my 45-minute ride every 4 minutes for a total of 11 times. There is definitely a console software problem. No refund for defective equipment how is this company still in business if they treat their customers this way. Please beware and look for another push pedal recumbent bike!!!!!

it gives you a slightly better workout than the "New Step
If you're thinking of buying, start by considering the size: it arrives in a massive cardboard container I was told weighs well above 200 lbs., with the device mounted on a wood pallet. Since most delivery companies won't bring it into your house, you may have to hire someone to do it. Next comes the matter of assembling it; the manufacturer will try to find somebody in your area (expect to pay around $100. for this service. So, in my case: $1295 to purchase + assembly + state taxes, totals almost $1500. And what did get for my $1500.?A very well-made fitness machine (similar to a "New Step," but a lot less expensive). From my perspective, it gives you a slightly better workout than the "New Step; your arms seem to have been worked more on this than on the "New Step." Closest thing to a problem: it has developed "squeaks," some of which are fairly loud. The manufacturer's advice, "Spray "squeaks" with WD40". We'll see.All in all, this is a serious piece of exercise equipment which would not look "out of place" in a commercial fitness center. I also think it's built to last. One final point: The $1295. price is excellent; I looked around and couldn't find it for less..

Best Investment I Have Ever Made in Exercise Equipment
I can tell already this is going to be the best investment I have ever made in a home exercise machine. The seated elliptical was my favorite machine to use when I went through Cardiac Rehab after having my by-pass surgery. I can tell no difference between the 'feel' of this machine and the one at the hospital that costs 3 times as much. It is amazingly whisper quiet - you can watch TV without having to turn the volume up nor will you annoy anyone else sitting and watching the same program (my house does not have a den or rec room, so I have the unit in my living room). Seat adjustment and arm handles adjustment are simple and easy. The computer display is also very easy to learn - you don't need to have a Programmer's IQ to figure it out. I don't have small children anymore, but I like the Child Safety Lock as well. I used an assembly service, so I can't speak to the difficulty of assembly, but the fellow that came put it together in about an hour - and he didn't need to do any heavy lifting from what I could see. Looked pretty simple, but I'm still glad I had a pro do it. If you have the delivery service at least bring it into the house for you, should be no issue.
