Microsoft Office Excel 2007 for Dummies 1st Edition

Excel is one of those programs that unless you use it all the time, it is easy to forget all the wonderful shortcuts, formula options, spreadsheet scenarios that are available. This book has a really comprehensive index that makes it easy to recall what you did last time and get the sheet created in a timely fashion. Easy to impress your boss with this tool!

I took an Excel class about 100 years ago, so this is a great book to have on hand to help me when I cannot remember how to do something. I do not use Excel much, so my mind kind of grows cobwebs in between uses, so I appreciate having this to fall back on. Like all of the dummies books, it is written in an easy-to-understand style. I am very happy.

Not being an Excel Guru, this book has helped learn more about how Excel works. But I still don't like to use it and prefer to use other software that can generate excel reports that I can take from data already entered in the program.

Too "dumb" for me. Have many "Dummies" books. This one has too small print and figures for me to see. Laid in my Library 'til now. When I bought my Black Diamond head-lamp, thought my problem was solved. Uh-Uh. Still can't define the figures in this book. Will probably give it away and leave excel to the "experts". Would still recommend to the studious type that has good vision because I have found "Dummies" books very good and will get people "up and running" for whatever topic they need assistance.

I have several of these books on different subjects and although it is a good training or reference book, I would have preferred VISUALS as they are much easier for me to follow. What I like about the DUMMY line, is the reading material is in simple terms and not that WAY OUT THERE technical terms that I doubt the real computer geeks even understand.

With the new purchases, yes they are all super good. Computer books and bike repairs were also helpful. Tire bead jack just could not imagine, my fingers are not that strong to push tire beads and now I can ride both of my bikes with confidence. Thank you so much, your store is so so helpful and easy.

I had only Excel 2000 previously with OS Windows XP and now have Windows 7 and Excel 2007, which was installed on my computer at work recently. It is important to take upgrades one step at a time not to get frustrated. This is a good step. Plenty is different to digest at a slower pace than thrusting yourself up against Excel 2013 or something. And '07 comes with glossy pictures too! I recommend it to anyone!

I was having trouble, with my home computer software, making spreadsheets for my church, for guest visitation for Worship.I found the book "Excell 2007 for Dummies" on Amazon.com and it was cheaper than I could purchase it at my local computer or book stores. Being 64 years of age I am computer illiterate, especially with office software. With the purchase of this book (which came in perfect condition, and quickly) I can find the shortcuts and how-to's and answers to help solve some of my problems with spreadsheets.
