River Road Cruiser Men's Classic Leather Harley Touring Motorcycle Jacket - Black / Size 44

My wife bought this jacket for me for an early Christmas gift. I am 5'7" at 160lbs. with a 42" chest. My wife bought me the size 44 and it fits great with or without the liner. It has foam armor in the elbows, shoulders and back. I removed the foam in the shoulders and elbows/forearms when not riding. It is not uncomfortable with the armor. Just a little looser fit. I wear the lined jacket over a zip up hooded sweat shirt and it still fits well without losing much, if any movement. The liner itself is not real thick, but with the leather jacket over it, you have a windproof barrier, cold protection, and road protection provided by the nice quality leather. The bottom of the jacket stops just 3 inches below my belt line, so it is not a long coat even for someone of my short stature. The jacket has enough of a form fit to not be or appear to be bulky, but you still retain full mobility I rated this jacket with 4 as opposed to 5 stars (I don't give many of those). The reason being is that I feel the pockets in the liner could be bigger and made of better material. The left chest pocket in the leather jacket itself is nicely done, but it should be bigger than it is. It will easily hold your gloves, cigarettes, glasses, wallet etc. If you are planning on using this jacket and its left inside chest pocket to hide your beloved 1911, Sig, Glock 19, then this jacket won't be the one for you. It would probably do fine with a short barreled .38 or a small .380, but it is just not deep enough or wide enough to accommodate anything much larger. Also this "gun pocket" has no zipper or snaps to keep it closed so you would have no guarantee it wouldn't fall out at the most inconvenient of times The zippers on this jacket appear to be well made and sturdy and I have found nothing wrong with the overall construction of the leather jacket itself and find it to be very comfortable, durable and an over all very good value for the money. I was unable to find a jacket of this style at the local HD dealership that didn't cost between $450.00 and $500.00. This one was half that cost. For the price point, I can forgive the few niggles that come with this jacket. I know I my jacket will be seeing many, many miles.
