This review is about application over design. We still really like the look and design of the light. Very close to the photo on the site. Reviewing the photo you will get pretty much exactly what you see.The light comes with a standard universal conversion plate which is pretty standard. Our home is a typical mid 90's Colonial suburban cookie cutter home. What I have discovered over the years during different remodeling projects is that our builder's electrical sub-contractor's took an almost MacGyver-like zeal to constructing and installing electrical boxes for all our lights. The electrical was/is to code but the actual boxes represent an industrial smorgasbord of various solutions. And as any house there is settling with walls and ceilings that will and does occur. So. What does this have to do with the light and my 3 Stars?The central pole that holds the 3 lights is actually on a hinge. That tripod of three lights are attached to this movable arm - which ends up acting exactly like a traditional plumb line. The base that attaches to the ceiling using the universal plate comes with only two screws. Perfect for securing in place. The light will not fall. No worries there. However, with a slightly uneven ceiling (1/4" - 1/2") that central rod holding the lights makes the entire light look crooked. The two screws are not enough to "squeeze or clamp" the light to mitigate this. So. The design of the light itself perfectly fine. Installed in a ceiling that has settled, is off some, the light is going to appear crooked because the central pole with lights is the plumb line. The rest of the light will follow the ceiling line. We tried to adjust and shift and did minimize the effect but it is still clearly there.Thank you for reading this novel. Hope it helps with your decision.

The lamp is much lighter than the picture would suggest. I decided to paint it and once complete had a decent product. Still, you pay a steep price for what it actually is. I wouldn't buy it a second time but others may love it regardless.

Install was very easy. Shipped within a few days of ordering. Wood look is more of a wood graining done on wrought iron rather than actual wood, but worked better for vibe I was going for. I had looked around for a semi-flush mount caged light fixture and found that I kept clipping the same picture from different retailers and finally realized it was available in other big box hardware stores, but generally was $10 higher elsewhere. Has elevated the look in my hallway and definitely recommend.

These are the perfect size to replace a ceiling hall light. We changed out old lights and these made our space look updated and gives lots of light. Also these were very easy to install. One is on a basic light switch and the other is on a dimming light switch. Highly recommended. Shipped in good condition.

Love the look of this fixture, but the wood part is definitely lighter then in the picture. Still works in my space but, something to consider if you really need a dark wood.

Really beautiful light fixture. Totally looks like wood. There were a couple of small blemishes in the finish that sort of give away that it’s not actually wood that we didn’t notice until it was already installed. Certainly not a deal breaker but just maybe pay attention to that when positioning the install. We put these in a hallway and feel it gives a sort of upscale Hamptons vibe.
