Great Toy, Bad Description
When I ordered this, it was described as being made of wood. We don’t buy plastic toys, so I would have returned this and found a wood alternative but I needed it for a six hour plane ride for my 20 month old. 5 star concept and toy, 3 star for misrepresenting its material description.

Great on a plane
i bought this as part of an 'entertainment set' for a 9h plane journey with our 15 months old. the light weight and size make this an idea hang luggage toy. She liked it immediately and it kept her busy especially during take off and landing. and she continues to play with it after the trip. the quality is higher than expected- i had feared the string would come off pretty easily but it has not. four weeks in it's as good as it was on day 1. i am buying this again as a gift for my 18 months old niece as she is taking her parents on a long trip, too.

Great waiting-room toy and learning tool
My 2 year old can be very rough on things so I pre-test her toys to make sure she isn't going to break them and hurt herself with the pieces. This toy is super sturdy and won't come apart easily. I don't let her have it unsupervised because I don't want her choking on the worm or strangling herself with the cord. If she was over 3, I wouldn't worry about it but she just turned 2 so there's tons of learning toys that she needs supervision with.As far as function, I couldn't be happier. My daughter went from clueless as to the concept of lacing to madly in love with it in a matter of minutes. She'll play with the toy for a good half hour which makes it great for waiting rooms and events that aren't entertaining to a toddler. Both her hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills seem to be improving as well.

Apple weaving toy keep lil hands busy
Hi! I got this for my 2 year old for our recent trip abroad. I was searching for small light weight toys to keep him busy on the flight and in his stroller when we were out sightseeing. This product turned out to be quite helpful in keeping the lil one busy and he enjoyed weaving it too. We used it to draw shapes with the weaving string :)Definitely worth the money and its is quite cheap actually. Loved it!

Durable toy, really cute, good for fine motor development and problem solving
My 3-year-old daughter loves playing with this lacing toy. It's a great toy for fine motor skills of threading and problem solving. She drags and swings it around, despite being told not to, and yet it is still in one piece. We wrap the little worm around the apple stem to store it. I wish we would have gotten it for her sooner, her attention span is shorter than it used to be, but I noticed it has helped her hand control for similar tasks.

You get what you pay for. Fun but not super durable for older kids
As far as a lacing toy for young kids goes the holes are a decent size and are less frustrating. The holes are a good deal larger than the worm.Giving it 3 stars because compared to the durability of other lacing toys we’ve had, this is pretty low. The worm pulled off the string within a couple days of play. I still have it three stars because my three year old son pulls harder on it (not anything outrageous though) than my younger daughter and he tied it around our gate once which is obviously not the purpose or I would have asked for a refund. I think you get what you pay for on this one. We’ve had others that have held up to the same conditions over a much longer period of time that have held up to this day.So basically this is great for very small kids, just watch out for the worm (choking hazard?) because it doesn’t take much to pull it off the string.

Keeps my busy toddler occupied!
I bought this for my 21 month old who has recently started refusing to stay in her stroller. She's at an age where she wants to be walking on her own and not stuck in a seat - which I get, and let her run around as often as possible, but there are situations where I really need to be able to get somewhere quickly without chasing a toddler, and without resorting to screen time. So I bought this little threading toy. It is well- made, seems sturdy, and most importantly she loves it! For the first time in weeks she sat contended in her stroller playing with the threading toy while we walked the dog. It's a simple concept toy, good quality, promotes fine motor skills, and seems fun for my little one. Definitely recommend!

Great for Toddlers
I purchased two of these (one for my 2 year old, another as a gift for my friends toddler). The kids have enjoyed playing with it and their siblings (both older and younger) have even found it entertaining as well. It is a great quiet activity and a “busy” toy for car rides, plane rides, sitting in a waiting room, etc. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the material of the apple. While going with plastic keeps it light weight, it could be sensory friendly to have a wooden option as some kids benefit from holding a toy such as this with a little bit of weight to it. I also found that both products we received had scratches all over the plastic. Not deep scratches, but enough to question if it was new or used. For us this wasn’t a major concern, but also could be a benefit of switching to a wooden material.
