-1 starLike others have said the mounting holes are a little off. It was not a direct bolt on for the Kawasaki winch plate I purchased. I had to modify the small plate that came with the winch as an adapter plate to fit the atv winch plate. Structurally it will be sound but the product loses a star for my extra work.-1 starThe + and - terminals on the winch need some protection from the elements. Circular connectors can rust through quickly, especially when riding around salt water. Its an easy fix, however, I'm subtracting a start for my extra work.Everything else seems to be great. It's made my life much easier when loading and unloading the atv up and down the steep side ramp on my trailer. I've only drug my atv out of a hole with it once so far so I'm post an update if it fails early.

This happens even if there is no load* No insulation cover for motor terminals - the supplied cables don't have the plastic cover that would go over the terminals* No insulation cover for the terminals on the control box* No where to mount the control box* Control box has no straps or braces or holes to mount anywhere* Pin to hold claw is very cheap, thin and flimsy* Wiring diagram is barely visible. Also the diagram doesn’t match reality. But I should give them credit for color coding the screws* Hard to connect the battery to the terminals because they are so close to each other.What I like about this winch ...* Synthetic rope is so much easier to work with than steel* The remote works very well

Let me start off by saying that if you can’t get your specs right on the bolt pattern, then what else is wrong! States a bolt pattern of 124 x 76, actual is 130.175 x 80.9, absolutely ridiculous! Ordered an extreme max winch mount with matching bolt pattern. Needless to say after about 2-3 hours of almost destroying this nice piece, I got the hunk of junk winch to fit. No exaggeration here, truly 2-3 hours of my life that I can’t get back! Not to mention it that re-engineering almost ruined the mount, and quite possibly did. I am sure if I really have pull something heavy this thing is ripping out of the mount. The screws that came with the winch were used and while tightening stripped out, too shallow of screw and the metal in the winch winch is absolute crap!Now let’s talk about the directions from hell with useless diagrams! If you are going to sell foreign crap in the US at least have the decency to have a US company write your instruction manual.I really can’t say enough about how much stress and anxiety a bad product like this causes. It’s not a small job to add a winch to an ATV, well it should be if the specifications are correct the. Everything should go right together. Now I am out $150 bucks and 4 hours of time I will never get back.I know everyone is saying return it, but I am headed on an atv adventure with friends and wanted piece of mind in case I get stuck, I had no choice but to install. If this things fails this weekend, which I have all faith that it will, I will be back to write more.

Product as stated

I installed this on a Polaris Ranger 570 crew and it is awesome! I have been stuck on multiple occasions in mud, water etc and it does a great job! I also use it to move a 200 ft boardwalk I have that get displaced every year when the lake I live on gets too high. This is a very heavy boardwalk and using this winch has made the job sooooo much easier! I love the remote controls, saves me a lot of walking back and forth.

Winch seems to be good so far. Gave it a 3 star rating because the winch mount plate it comes with does not work with a 2020 Kawasaki mule 4010 and the hole alignment on the bottom of the winch is not correct according to the documentation. I had to heavily modify the Kawasaki OEM winch mount plate to get this to mount properly. Remotes work great but very large. You get what you pay for at the budget price.

I would probably choose a different product. The mounting holes are non standard. The cables provided for power are way too short for my UTV. There was no mount provided for the solenoid. I would have probably sent it back if it wasn't such a pain in the rear to get mounted. I had to order new power cables, still don't know exactly how I am going to mount the solenoid.
