Acroprint timeQplus Magnetic Stripe Time and Attendance System Time Clock

I'm a 30 year IT veteran.. I have learned SUPPORT is just as important as the product. You won't find better in this field. I have 17 of these clocks installed.. Some of them for as long as 7 years. Other than pebkac, only 1 finger print scanner had the glass window damaged by Tungsten Carbide chips on Employee fingers. (MAKE SURE THEY KNOW TO WASH FIRST). Acroprint sent a new clock and transferred all the settings from the old clock to the new one. (fingerprints and punch history). If you have any problems their US based Office fixes it right away.

The clock has been good and the tech-support has been great. Initially I had problems setting the clock up to the server but once I contacted tech-support they helped me connect and walked me through a couple of steps. The clock has been easy to use and run reports on. My only complaint is the clock loses connection to the server periodically. Each time I have had any sort of problem I have been able to call tech-support and they have either fixed it for me or walked me through the steps I needed to take to correct the issue. The 5 stars is due to the tech-support I've received and would give the clock 4 stars.

Works great. It eliminates the worry about employees not clocking in or out correctly and has a robust enough time clock program to cover all of our various needs. It took a little time initially setting up the clock in the software but the Acroprint customer service was very helpful.

Felt obligated to write a review after seeing the others posted. Overall, this timeclock is rock solid. My company has been using multiple Acroprint timeQplus Biometric timeclocks without incident. From time to time, they will break, but that goes with everything and I think it is more the users that cause the failure. I watch some employees punch in and out and for some reason, they think that if they press harder, it will work better, which is not the case... Also, as far as employees fingerprints not working, in most cases, it is easily solvable with a little moisturizer or breathing on the specific finger. For a few employees, I have multiple fingerprints in the system for them, but that seems to do the trick. We don't want to issue pin codes because it makes it too easy for employees to punch in/out for each other.Again, the timeclock is solid, the software is good, my only beef with the company is their tech support. While knowledgeable, I hate that you have to wait for a call back from them to get help. I think it is the only company that I work with that has this setup. My issue always gets fixed, but it is still annoying. I hope this helps, don't be scared of this line of timeclocks as they really do work well.

The unit arrived as described and ahead of schedule. It has been working perfectly and customer service was very helpful during set up installation.

Works great and much cheaper than similar products; good software as well

Although it's not without some glitches, it's relatively easy to use for the money. It does have "canned" options that cannot change but overall if you think outside the box a little, that issue can be overcome (for instance using "FMLA" to report Unpaid time off). We have approx 40 employees that use this clock to punch in and out every day, and only 3 that have an issue with it accepting their fingerprint (usually due to dry skin, frequent concrete or yard work, etc). It's not a bad little system for the money and I just installed this clock at a second branch because of that.

Super product with even more then super support. We’ll be buying more of these.

Seems to be a good solid product, some employees have to remove there glasses in order to be recognised.Tech support is knowledgeable and helpful and can log into your system to help you set it up.Tech support does not (in our experience) answer the phone but they do call you back in < 24 HrsThe software does not play well with Quick Books Enterprise but seems to be good with other versions of Quick books.This is a completely on premise solution, no contracts or monthly fees.getting data from the clock isn't super fast 30 employees takes about 30 seconds. once a week no big deal.Over all for this kind of price point you really can't go wrong, we are going to buy a second one for our other location.

have purchased this a couple of years ago, not sure how long it would work. However, it still works perfectly today. Thums up. Good product and highly recommended.

Product ships quickly and connects with other devices easily. Been using this hardware for several years and it works well.

It is wonderful, works well, easy to set up.I just removed one star because it does not work with Mac. And, this is mentioned nowhere. Having known that, I would not bought it.
