The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this for my temporary flatmate (looking after my neighbour's cat for a while). I like that it's recyclable. It's made of firm cardboard and feels sturdy but still lightweight. It just arrived and the video was recorded the same day of purchase. At first he didn't seem to understand what it was for. So I provided a demonstration and facilitated a brief hands on tutorial for him. I think Rodney got the hang of it as you can see. I think the price is suitable. The fish design is cute. Rodney is a bigger cat and it accommodates him well so will see how long it lasts as he likes to scratch every time he comes from outside throughout the day. I took a photo right after his first go to see how much of the cardboard was damaged. His nails are a bit sharp at the moment but there was only minimal evidence of his use (circled in red) so I would guess this would last a reasonable amount of time. Plus it can be flipped over when one side gets demolished as it's the same on both sides. And he was able to sit on it for a little while which is an added bonus vs the pole versions. I would recommend. And it arrived quickly.

My cat started using it straight away and loved the cat nip. Hopefully this will help save my dining room chairs!

The cat adored this but it was very messy as the surface comes off when scratched leaving bits of cardboard everywhere. It lasted well but the bits had to be cleared up daily.

I prefer the wall mounted version of this which comes with a little ball but this is fine as a smaller option for a different room. Be aware that the cardboard flakes off over time with use but for the price it is good value and easily replaced

I have another one of these which is much sturdier now, this one is okay, it's well used, but my cat keeps lifting it up and moving it, so doesn't work as well as the other one I have which stays put whilst he is sharpening his claws

My cat took to it straight away. Not sure how long it will last, however no more clawing at the carpets 😊👍

I needed something for my cat to scratch, she is struggling with social situations and won’t leave the bedroom at the moment and has started to use the wooden fireplace as a scratch post.Th scratch pad is great, she uses it a lot (including the middle of the night) and she loves it.It is smaller than I thought and not sure how long it will last but it can easily be replaced at that price.
