Nostalgic purchase for son and I
We live in a very rural community and have no Legos in town. I was so excited to order these for my 8 year old son and I to play with just like in my childhood. This set came with a fun booklet to build things together and I'm loving all the nostalgia. The colors are great just like I remember and they still hurt to step on just like I remember!

Great, classic Lego kit. I used in a classroom so that kids would have enough of the most common pieces. Works well, good size bin so pieces aren't squished. Good for kids 5+, and easy to use, with the durability and quality you expect from Lego.

Lego love
Bought this set on flash sale for my 7 year old son. He's only recently started using Legos. After doing a few smaller sets he said he wanted more practice and to try building more stuff from his imagination.He loves the little booklet with builds that came with the set as well as the quantity of pieces and color variety. I love that it came in a storage bin so he has somewhere to keep them instead of the floor

Lego bricks - what's not to love?
Standard box of Lego bricks. Decent variety of shapes and sizes. I'm not such a fan of all the different colors; I would prefer sticking to just a few colors and providing more bricks of those colors. But that's my preference and I understand why Lego expanded the color choices. Otherwise the set includes enough bricks to spark creativity for kids and should keep them occupied for an hour at a time. It certainly did for my kids.
