Great value!
The KUBEY Eris knife has great esthetics, tight tolerances and smooth action.I got the D2 steel blade + black G-10 handle version. The G-10 scales are very nicely machined, no sharp edges or corners. The flipper is very smooth and fast, it propels the blade to a completely open and locked position. Lockup appears to be solid. The blade is completely centered and the liner lock is easy to operate & does not hurt the thumb. There are no metal liners beside the liner lock. The blade is very sharp out of the box and the edges are evenly ground. You have to be careful, because this is a really sharp knife.I cannot comment yet how sturdy is the knife in the long term, nor the edge holding. Even if this is not an AISI D2 tool steel, but a Chinese approximation, it should still keep its edge much better than the AUS-8, 8cr13MoV or 9Cr18MoV steels commonly found in similarly priced knives. This is not a stainless steel, so it will require some care to protect it from rust. The only thing which think can be easily improved on this knife is the pocket clip. It seems a little bit flimsy, is is held by a single screw. However for the price I shouldn't be too critical, this is not a major issue for me.Overall this is a very nicely designed and executed slim pocketknife, a true gentleman's EDC.Highly recommend!

Solid performer, attractive knife
I ordered this along with the Ku-136 and to my surprise, this is the one I'm keeping. I really like the slim, light weight, snappy action and D2 blade steel. Great job, Kubey. I wish you'd have put this pocket clip on the Ku136. I'd be keeping both. Oh well.

Nice little knife.
Good little knife, well made as all Kubey knives are. Sturdy and sharp, liner lock is a bit rough on the fingers and handle doesn't have much grip. Definetly Worth the 30 bucks but Kubey does offer better knifes at 10 or 15 dollars more.

Small, but good
Pretty neat little knife. It looks like a trailing point but is actually pretty well centered and useful blade design. Only complaint is that it’s a bit smaller and more delicate feeling than I expected (trim and thin, but not flimsy), but the quality seems good and it opens very nicely.

Solid knife
Good looking, comfortable, sharp, but I'll be darned if the pocket clip didn't sheer off the first day using it. The pocket clip looks very out of place on the knife, it's very cheesey feeling and looking.

Good idea, bad execution? (updated)
I was excited to receive this beautiful knife. Initially, I was very pleased with it. Blade is sharp, it opened and closed smoothly, etc. However, I ran into two glaring issues within a couple weeks of owning it that make me feel like it was a poor purchase -1. the screws holding the two black sides together (that runs through the hinge of the blade) continuously come loose, causing the blade to shift to one side and the frame to rattle. Luckily I have a tool with the right bit and I can tighten the screw, but it comes loose again within a few days. Very discouraging and low-quality.2. I got used to the blade up clip pretty quickly and don't mind it. However, the clip caught on something as I walked past and broke under very little pressure. I can't find any way to get a replacement clip anywhere either.Overall a nice knife and idea, but mine was just not executed very well. Disappointed.Update (9/13/2020): requested replacement clip via Kubey website, and company sent whole new knife. Logged on to update listing and saw an offer to replace. Great customer service. New knife has not had same issues so far.

a great knife from a great co.
i bought a kubby knife a while back and it was great, fit and finish great, action and detente perfect, blade finish and grind was perfect, all n all a great $30 knife. Now i get this knife and woops , QC missed. there was a scuff mark on the shinny pocket clip, and more disappointing was the nick on the blade edge near the front. the rest of the knife is still great, form and function, detente and fit n finish. so i will keep it. This is an update to my review. knife horde reached out to me and sent a replacement knife, wow this company truly stands behind their products, and has excellent costumer service. i herd from them the day after i received the first knife and had the knew, perfect, replacement knife by 2 days later. now THAT is what i call taking care of your customers. needless to say i will buy, with full confidence, from KNIFE HORDE again, and again, and again. thanks andy.

Great knife for the money!!!
Best knife under 100$ I've ever had beats Kershaw ,Gerber, and crkt hands down. Best value I've gotten for my money in A long time I use this knife daily. only downside was the single location for the clip, blade is tough and holds an edge well.
