Good product for clones and
Appear to be authentic root riot plugs. These are the squared ones, not round. Bag arrived sealed, and plugs were moist. Good product for clones and seedlings. Use with Clonex for cloning. Add only a small amount of clean water for seedlings.Please hit that button if my review was helpful!

You can't go wrong!
This is the best seed starter I have ever used! It is moist and pliable - felt as tho I was putting my seeds in a feather bed. Every seed sprouted with strong little roots poking out of the sides. Withstood planting and thrived. I am now a loyal customer!

Grows fast, but leggy
My seedlings grew much faster in this than in regular potting soil. But the cubes are a little short and so the plants so the cubes were more leggy. Also, as the seedling grew, the ones in the regular potting soil caught up in size, and didn't dry out as fast as the root riot ones. I'm not sure why these cubes are shorter than a standard 6 pack container.

Great starter plugs!
These are great for cuttings, clones, or even germinating! Great product,! The only issue I had was upon inspecting the plugs after receiving them was I noticed that they had whites spots on a lot of the plugs. I was hoping that it wasn't mold or anything like that, and used them anyway. I haven't had any issues with them so I don't think it was mold but maybe had something to do with the fact they are organic(?). Over all a great product and will buy more when I run out!

Great for seed sprouting!
Make sure they cubes are moist and then put in your seeds. They'll sprout in no time. Plus it makes transplanting easier as you don't disturb the plant roots, thus the plants do better!

Your roots will riot
Cuttings root fast in these cubes. A few days faster than the spongey ones but u need to make sure to soak them good if they are not new. Maybe even then. Both types work well I prefer root riots brand though. Name is cool to 😎 lol

I propagate my own seeds and I clone plants as well. Today I am cloning ground cover. These cubes are the greatest. They hold water like a sponge. Don't let them dry out. I use clonex gel with my clones as it really speeds up the process, and promotes 100% germination rates.

Works great for cuttings...
I started using these rooting plugs about 8 years ago. They perform excellent, I very rarely loose a start.I use them with Clonex rooting gel, a simple 72 cell insert, 10x20 starting tray with a Mondi vented dome and a Jump Start heat pad. I place the tray under a twin T8 light fixture. I add water to the tray to just below the bottom of the insert starting tray, and add water if it becomes dry. Within 10 to 14 days for most plants I have a well rooted start.Cloning is made easy using Root Riot plugs... I strongly recommend them to others...
