Didn't even know these existed
I ran ethernet cable throughout the house when I built it, but I am so bad at attaching the plugs on the ends of the wire I never finished the plug-ends of the installation. I finally ran a 100' prefinished cable from my loft down to the basement, but it was too short to make it to the router/modem. My son just ran a cable through the hallway and was getting way better speed than I had on wi-fi, so I finally saw this product, clipped it on to the end of the existing cable in the basement, and then to the back of the router, and shazam, my speed increased 4x and page loads were almost instantaneous. For the price it was a great buy.
