Love it
Great backpack It is a little big for a carry one but when separated the small and large compartment, we were able to place in a few occasions the larger one on top and the small one under the seat. Materials are good and can see it will last for long. It is pretty comfortable. I like the feature of carrying the larger bag on the back and the small one on the front (I can keep an eye on passports and iPad). I got the reddish color as it was much cheaper and it is not really bad…

The best set for a nomadic life
omg what to say about this set, in some ways the best investment i ever did for my digital nomad life, but now after being on the road for 6 years, I'll share from real experience as i traveled 27 countries with this set. The 40 liters holds steady until today, the top cover size is very valuable, and I wished the shoe side pocket was a bit larger for my tenis shoe. The 20l I used until the last grip of life last year. The shape of the 20 liter is the best for the purpose of using both combine in planes, most airlines today will make a fuss when they see two backpacks, but the sleek design of the 20l makes magic by holding lost of stuff and look like a small bag, I used as my primary computer bag and still small when compare to others and fit under the seat with no issues, but other problem was the material was fin, it wear off faster than the 40l, plus it was not waterproof, i bumped into rain on my stuff more times then i could count. I really hope Thule improve this model and make weather proof and better holders for water bottles on the sides, they were the first to wear off, together with the holder on the top. The 40l is a winner, to this day holds more stuff than a cabin size suitcase (i purchased one last year thinking of changing styles, but no way). i got back using my 40l.

Great travel backpack!
I got this backpack for a 20 day trip to Europe. Fits everything I need to backpack Europe and great quality. I love that the day pack comes off and you are able to a carry on and personal item. Great idea. Definitely recommend this backpack.

Great travel bag
This bag is the absolute best for traveling! It might look small, but it holds so much! The straps are comfortable and secure without biting into your shoulders which makes it easier to wear for longer periods of time. My daughter took this on a backpacking trip in the UK for 3 weeks and never had any issues walking around with it. The style is more narrow so it’s not so bulky. Thule makes their bags to last!

Feels like a good pack - I'd like one more outer pocket and more water resistance
I'll preface this by saying that I have not used the pack on a trip yet. However, I just got back from a trip and I transferred everything I had from my other pack to this one to see if I liked this one better than the one I had been using. The main reason I'm not totally satisfied with this pack it is because it's too small for my torso. My torso length is about 19.5", and the waist belt on this pack was at my belly, which isn't great for holding the weight of the pack. I'll list my pros and cons of this pack: Pros: - Plenty of room to hold what I needed for about 2 weeks. - Feels sturdy - Lightweight - Actually carries pretty well when loaded up despite the waist belt not being in the proper position - it was more comfortable than my last pack - I like how it's easy to buckle the outer straps and cinch the pack down to take up extra room and keep it tight to your body - It's really quick and easy to use the security features on this pack (i.e. securing the zippers) Cons: - I wish this pack had one more outer pocket for quick access, or perhaps an outer mesh pocket for stuffing in a jacket or hat. - It's a bit difficult to stuff in the stowable straps - I wish this pack were a bit more water resistant - I contacted Thule and they said it will be okay in a light rain, but it's not super water resistant and there is no water resistance to the zippers (I got caught in a downpour with my other pack on my last trip and I was extremely grateful for its great water resistance!) I am going to try the men's/unisex version of this pack to see if it fits me better - but that one does not have load lifter straps, so we'll see how that goes... Good luck in the search for the perfect pack!

Amazing bag!
I’m a luggage obsessed world traveler. I am so happy with this backpack. I love the materials and the way it packs. It’s like a traditional duffle bag with the best quality and fit (for a small female) backpack straps with waist band. It’s so comfortable and practical and nice! I just absolutely love it!!

Versatile, roomy, and great for travel!
This backpack was amazing. The detachable daypack was Fantastic for our day trips, hikes, and more. We were able to put a hydration pack in the laptop/tablet sleeve of the daypack which was so convenient! I love that the bag opens up from the side to make packing easier than most top loaders. The larger pack works as a carry on in the overhead as the smaller pack fits under your seat! We were able to carry on our bags on every single flight we were on throughout our monthlong journey through Asia! The versatility of ways to carry the bag made it easy to feel balanced even when I wound up on crutches for the travel home! The only downside, I wish the too hard top compartment opened the opposite direction. When the bag is laying down and open for loading, the top compartment opens downward and makes things fall out. Overall, my husband and I both loved our backpacks and would recommend them to anyone who plans on doing a long trip with carry-on only bags!

This thing is small
It is well made and the compartments are well thought out and handy, but these packs are too small for a multi day trip. Maybe a day trip. If your planning to pack them for a several day trip, forget it. Too small and too many straps and adjustments. Really, 3/4 of the straps and adjustment bands and pulls are not necessary.

I really like Thule's move into luggage. I have a 'business rucksack' of theirs for daily use, which I love, so this rucksack appealed for weekend breaks. When it arrived I released all the straps, but couldn't get the main pack on. Released them all to the maximum and it went on - just - but the chest strap was cutting across my throat. (I'm 6'3" - so tall, but not unusually so). Looked at the product's labels, and it's a ladies rucksack! Asked my wife to try it on and it's perfect for her. (5'6") So... a bit disappointed that the description here doesn't include this fundamental piece of information. But my wife is delighted with her unexpected new rucksack.

Ancora non provato in viaggio ma già così mi ha fatto un’ottima impressione. L’ho riempito per prova e mi sembra molto funzionale. Ottimo compromesso fra zaino da trekking e da urban!

Some neat features. Good straps which can be tucked away when not in back pack mode. Clever hidden pocket within the bag and a neat laptop side pocket (plenty of room for say laptop and iPad, notebook). Very nicely thought through bottle pocket on the side , I could also fit my hiking sticks in too which can also be used as a closed side pocket and fully zipped closed. Good compression clips on the outside which can been neatly tucked in too. The top hard shell pocket I wasn’t sure about but now that I use it, makes sense for glasses etc which are afforded some protection and can actually put quite allot into this pocket. It’s a side opening bag e.g. like a duffel bag rather than a true ruck sack but this makes allot of sense for clothes etc and if anything makes it v user friendly, no digging down for the item you are looking for. All round good and versatile bag for weekends, interrail or hiking.
