Energy Sistem Clip 8 GB Portable MP3 Player (Coral)

Call me old school but really there are times when you just need a portable music player that's not in the mobile. All the major brands in mp3 player segment of yesteryears like Phillips, Transcend and Creative have stopped making these except Sony, which IMO is not worth the money.I have used all of the above four in the past and trust me; "Energy Sistem Clip" in today's time, is better than all those, quality wise and cost wise too.Pros1. Long battery life (played for 8hrs nonstop).2. Huge 8GB internal memory and additional external card slot.3. User friendly interface.4. Preset equaliser.5. Bass boost.6. Ability to make playlists.7. Can access folders in ext memory card to play music files.8. Volume range is humungous, between 1to30, but with earphones on, you will have reached your limit at 18 or 19, no further high required.9. Superb build quality and silicon matte surface finish, buttons are tactile and very responsive.10. Clip is large and with firm anti-slip grip.11. Earphones provided in package are awesome with tangle free smooth cord and fit comfortably (with size specific in-ear buds) without trouble even when playing for over an hour.Cons1. The matte silicon finish tends to get soiled in everyday use, should have provided a small pouch at a little extra cost.2. No background play function. When a song is playing and you wish to select another to play next, the playing song pauses while you select the other.3. Making a playlist is time consuming.4. When a song is selected from a folder/list, it doesn't reality play, you have to press play. This is to be done everytime you select a new song manually.5. Due to compact size and location of play/option buttons; everytime you adjust the clip, you may also end up pressing either of these buttons inadvertently.The cons anyway are few and one can live with them because the pros far outweigh them. So people, if you love music and want it on the go without the mobile, close your eyes and simply go for this one, thank me later.

It’s easu to use and has different modes

I had been a user of mp3 player from Phillips and lost it during travel. They have discontinued the mp3 range. I could not get any other brand mp3 player. All that I used to get on internet were either cheap quality players without display or full touchscreen display players like iPod Nano. After reading good reviews for this, I gave it a try and it is really good quality mp3 player. Has all the features Im6fond of, like arrange music files with gener, album, etc and set sleep time.If anybody from Energy Sistem are reading it, please continue supplying/importing this product. It has a demand among few music lovers who don't want to play music on Smartphones or Bluetooth Speakers.

I have been searching for a product like this on/off internet for a long time. This MP3 player was the exact kind of product I had been hunting and now I would like to share my opinion to persuade or dissuade in purchase of this product.1. The player is small and snug so it will totally fit in to pockets, purse, bags or other storage spaces you can think of.2. The player has basic UI which means, it will not eat the battery too much giving you the fullest experience.3. The player comes with 8 GB internal memory with a Micro SD slot which you can extend your memory even further....! All Micro SD cards are accepted (any brand and size)4. The battery life I got was nearly 8 hours maximum. On average I would say 5 hours, give or take.5. Charging is pretty straight forward, any charger with Micro USB port will work. 20-30 minutes required for full charge if using fast charger if not then it would take 45-60 minutes with normal charger.6. For adding songs a computer PC/Laptop is required. The player has no bluetooth connectivity option. You can either add songs to the Root (internal) folder or card (Micro SD Card) folder.7. Not Waterproof, hence keep out of sweaty pockets. Be warned!8. There is a lock feature so that the songs or volume will not change.9. The buttons and features took me nearly a week to figure out, once you do the handling is Gold Standard.10. The best feature of all, there is a tiny Pin Needle Point size hole to reset the player should it misbehave, once you reset the player (should you need it!) it will get back to its original standby mode.... Such a delight.No mess.... no fuss...on the whole, the product is worth its money. You should seriously consider buying this product. With reset option, extending memory option, basic UI, Good battery life, easy to carry this product truly contends strongly with other MP3 Players available out there! Hope this review clarifies the intentions you might have for this product.

Nice, but...but ...buttons are wired and extremely difficult to operate. I was kinda disappointed that Mint color was not available so I had to opt for the coral.Very light, looks good and till now working perfectly alright. Few glitches, the bass is not appropriate. and again the buttons...ahh ...such a pain to operate...you don't expect your user to carry a manual in their pocket all the time! do you???

Value for money... very convenient and easy to carry...

Il lettore è molto carino, anche le cuffiette abbinate e il suono complessivo non sono niente male (in rapporto al prezzo ovviamente) se volete un suono di qualità eccellente dovete orientarvi su ben altri prodotti. Forse schermo è poco leggibile per i caratteri minuti e quando c’è una forte luce solare, ma nel complesso è carino e funzionale.

Good MP3 player for the price. It's a bit small in size but overall does the job.
