Not practical design, and not very smart business owner who sell this product
THE BAD:A/ Business operation 1 star:- Business owner is aware that the instruction is useless but do little to nothing. To the owner, why don't you put information you responded to customer in product front page? So I and other don't have to waste time looking for it? You are aware of the problem, and do nothing.- Owner provide the most pathetic instructional video I have ever seen to date. See links, which I wasted my time to look for as mentioned above. The idea of making video is to show how to make soap adjustment and sensitivity adjustment. Get on the links below and see it for yourself guys. We had problem with programing and the video should cover the sequencing of making adjustment, is that too hard to ask for? The video is as useless as the instruction. It always make me mad when people putting in half-a..ed job on the FIX, it's somewhat acceptable to do half-a..ed job initially, the instruction in this case. But half-a..ed job when attempting to make it right? That's just pathetic.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1--eYXPWkH9HzribPsd6zJZselAzGgnGl/viewhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1FufE6jPFfwEyYRnoFZVF7kJS9Px8tIOg/viewB/ Product design 1 stars, would get 3+ up to 4- if adjustment program can be achieved:- No power button. Why it's a problem? If you install for bathroom sink, it most case it would be around the same height of electrical outlets. So drying your counter, or cleaning would trigger soap dispenser. A power button would come very handy for cleaning up time, even $15 dispenser has power button, why not on the more expensive version? Missing power button is ok if you can adjust the damn thing to set how sensitive (how far your hand is) it is. I lucked out one time that my hand has to be within 2" for it to trigger, so I can clean the counter which is about 9" below without problem, but my soap came out to little. And messing around with adjustments I lost that sensitivity I desired. The more I play with it the more I get angry with useless instruction and video I mentioned above. Spent at least two hrs playing with it, like shooting arrow in the dark. So every time I clean up, I have to open the lid to disconnect the plug in there, or do it on hand with the other catching the soap, what a pain.- Reset button, use for programming is at the bottom near sensor reading. So if you want to make adjustment (pending you can do it), the soap came out as you wand your hand around to reach it. I tried very careful not to go near the sensor, but it got me once out of three, then the clean up, then the issue I just mentioned above that either clean/dry with one hand or unplug it. Why big issue to me? The control chip is at the top cover and there are plenty of room, it is big unit to put power button, adjustment button for both sensitivity and soap amount and reset button. Why not put everything there for convenience? My $15 one has soap adjustment, and power button on it and it is less then half area. Please consider/factor in my nit picking as my frustration grow as not able to program and not able to turn it off if I want it to.- Cap of soap compartment should be threaded and should be "soap" tight, water tight should be better with pin hole for vacuum purposes, like gas cap. Why? so when changing new battery, it would be easier for removing bottom three screws, I have little hard time feeling if the screw head engage or not, and don't want to bust the head, the only way for me is raise it above my head. If you tilt it, the cap will pop right off and soap would come out, If the cap the way it is, why have a cap in the first place?CONCLUSION:We, or I willing to pay premium for convenience and easy of use. This is not it, just and just because of that useless instruction and video. But if those that I considered minor design flaws, or would I say not practical can be fixed. I would not think twice to buy it even at $75-$100 range. Paid for $50, spent more than 2 hrs still not get it to work how I wanted it, then $100 is a steal right? Ya de da mean.

Very Nice Dispenser. Poorly Written User Manual
Received dispenser 6/16/19. I did not want to immediately drill into ceramic tile shower wall before testing the dispenser, so I "temporarily" mounted it to a piece of marine starboard (HDPE "plastic" board), and then hung it from the shower arm (Pic attached). It looks good and seems to be working well so far (through initial testing and through one shower). However, I do have a hopefully easily resolved problem. The User Manual is poorly written (poor grammar, broken English etc.) The manufacturer should have hired a qualified technical writer of the English variety to write the technical instructions. I am a techie, and I've not been able to figure out exactly how to adjust the liquid volume of soap dispensed. To me this is an important feature. I tried following instructions, making many variations in the timing of pushing the Setting button. I "accidentally" stumbled upon a variation that let me adjust the volume at least a little, but I was not able to repeat it. I've sent the seller a request to provide EXACT, PRECISE, step by step instructions on how to set the volume. I need to know how long to hold the button, how long between button pushes, do I hold the button or let go when it flashes, etc. etc. I will update this review later as appropriate.Update - 6/19/19. Seller quickly and courteously sent re-written seemingly pretty simple instructions to set volume. But they did not work because they were not quite complete. Turns out the instructions had to be followed AFTER going into the setup mode. The instructions did not mention this, but I tried it and it worked. Now the soap volume dispensed is very satisfactory, and overall the dispenser seems to be working very well (through numerous adjustments and two showers so far). At this point I must say that I highly recommend this dispenser. So the plan is to use the dispenser temporarily mounted for the 30 day return period. If all goes well, will drill my ceramic! If I run into problems I will update this review.6/21/19 Update - Seller's support has been exceptionally good. Seller responded again with BOTH clearer written instructions AND a video demonstrating the procedure. Customer service does not get much better than this. Highly recommend this Dispenser and this Seller!7/23/19 Update - Dispenser has worked flawlessly through a month's worth of showers. Getting ready to drill my ceramic!

How to set soap dispensing amount
Ok yes, the instructions are terrible, but this unit actually works well once you figure it out.I had problems setting the amount of soap per each dispense so here are the REAL steps you need to do to set the amount of soap dispensed each time. I rated it 4-stars due to poor instructions. Here are the Steps:Press and hold the programming push-button on bottom. I had to hold it for 20 seconds and then it will start flashing quickly. Continue holding while flashing quickly and it will then flash 5X slowly. Once it flashes 5X slowly, release the push-button. It is now in programming mode for soap dispensing amount. Then press the same button again 2X and release. Wait about 2 seconds and the light will begin to flash slowly. Put your hand under sensor and keep it there while the light flashes slowly. The dispenser will begin to dispense individual shots of soap one at a time. If you want more soap, keep your hand under nozzle. I kept mine under for three shots. Remove your hand and it will do one long shot which is the sum of the individual number of shots you held your hand under sensor for.Hope this helps!
