Beautiful and Ornate Hourglass Piece
Arrived all the way from India today in good time long before the anticipated delivery date. Very well wrapped protected from all potential bumps along the way. It is a charming and beautiful piece that truly looks antique. The hourglass frame made of brass, stands approx. 8 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide, the base represents a ships wheel from an 18th century sailing ship which also holds a compass within the centre. The hourglass itself is glass with one small criticism the sands run out in only 6 mins 35 seconds. From the size of the glass you would expect it to run at least 15 minutes or so. That all aside it is very pleasing to the eye and makes for a wonderful ornament which could so easily have been found in an antique store. Quite amazing what we can find at Amazon:) also please note the detailed photos provided by the seller are true to life:) I am very pleased and would recommend this product to anyone.
