Which size would be best for the 5.25 qt deep dutch oven?

I have that particular oven and was wondering the same thing. I ended up gambling on the small knob. Both will work just fine, but I would have picked the large if I’d seen them both in front of me. The large will match the same size as the knob the 5.25 qt. comes with. The small is smaller, but still perfectly functional/ compatible. So I’d go large unless you like the aesthetic of a smaller knob better, or want to save a couple bucks. Hope that helps!

can the gold knob stand up to high oven heat?

According to Le Creuset, it is safe at any oven temperature.

Where is this knob manufactured?

I’m not sure but we love ours we bought from Amazon. Very well made and have held up in a hot oven several times. I would highly recommend these as replacement knobs.

does it come with the screw?

No, you use the screw that comes out of the original.
