The seller is very nice and it shipped very fast, the book is brand new and it even has a book skin, I really like the images and illustration in it!

Ce livre est superbe, avec beaucoup de références en tout genre. Les infographies sont variées, il y en a pour tous les styles. Franchement, je ne regrette pas de l'avoir acheté !Et un petit plus pour la couverture reliée en relief dont le touché est très agréable !

I absolutely love this book. It's beautifully presented and bursting with ideas.

Like the previous reviewer I also don't often leave reviews but one star seemed incredibly unfair and I felt I wanted to redress the balance with an alternative view. My worry might have been, as can be the case in books such as this, that the book was more text heavy inside at the expense of graphics but I needn't have worried. Every page has a high quality visualisation or infographic. It's the nature of the art that not every one will be to your own taste but there are so many examples from the most talented data artists in the industry that some are sure to give you inspiration."Playful Data" is what sums up my style and inspiration for data visualisation projects perfectly, and in that respect the book contains exactly what you'd expect. Personally I'm looking forward to re-reading for nuggets of inspiration for future works. I'd recommend it for any data visualiser who wants to bring out their inner artist.

I’ve seen some mixed reviews on this book in the past, but I feel as if it is very well-constructed and beautiful on the whole! It consists of a variety of infographics from all sorts of style types. This book is especially useful for print work but I found that it didn’t necessarily have much for web design, which unfortunately is my primary area but still a nice book to have in the inspiration collection!

One of those books that when it came I wish I'd never bought. If I'd have picked it up in a shop I wouldn't have bought it.Stylistically most of the infogs are not to my taste. The cover is misleading in terms of quality of the overall design and storytelling of the infographics inside. I don't review usually, but felt I had to this time.
