Worst Pecans Ever
I love pecans. They're my number 1 nut. However, these were the worst pecans that I've ever ran across and should be removed from the shelves. First of all, there was no expiration date that I could find. The nuts were very dark in color indicating that they're old. Secondly, the were soooo hard that it was very difficult to chew. As a matter of fact, they were hard enough to be used as rocks. Walmart has a better quality and cost less.

Revised 17 July 2023 After I posted a one-star review, summarizing the product I received as "dry, dark, stale" (see the original review below), and learning that there is no Amazon return policy on this product, I was happy to receive an offer for a full refund from the vendor, along with a discount with my next purchase, confirming that I'm A Nut stands by its 100% satisfaction guarantee. Five stars for commitment and service! ORIGINAL REVIEW I had been pretty happy with another brand of pecans delivered by Amazon but I wanted to give these well rated nuts a try — I eat a lot of pecans. I used to purchase directly from a farm in the south but that became problematic during the pandemic. Only after I reviewed my purchase of this item delivered today did I realize that I had purchased this item before — apparently some time ago — and now I know why I did not immediately re-order them the first purchase. Simply put, while the nuts are almost exclusively full halves, they are all more dark brown than pecan gold in hue, their moisture content was lacking, and the tasted as if they had been sitting in my pantry for months, almost bitter, certainly not “sweet.”
