Worst tulip bulbs ever!
Have planted tulip bulbs every fall for twenty years. This spring: These are the worst bulbs ever. Washed out pinkest red, but neither. Low bloom rate. Limp. Faded quickly. Bad. Taken. Never again. Sorry.

I planted these in early spring. The bag states to plant in the Fall
Yet, five tulips are doing great. The others started to grow and stopped or are growing very slow. I gave 5 stars because I should have read the directions for planting. I think next year they will all bloom.

Used to think tulips would be burning red…but they’re PINK
Pros: Bought 25 tulips and I think maybe all but 1-3 came up…and likely only lost a few b/c the squirrels. Cons: They’re the wrong color. I’ve been in sufferable to my family all winter saying how THIS is the spring I’ll FINALLY have red tulips grace my yard …something I’ve wanted for years. For the last few weeks I’ve been pointing out to anyone and everyone how close we were to my red tulip dreams coming true. Then last week the first one bloomed….and then the second…and third. They’re pink. Okay, fine. They look great. Seem healthy. Just not red.
