Mizuno Youth G3 Samurai Shin Guards (14.5-Inch)

Bought these for my 9 year old son to use for Little League. The League issued guards were too small and too cheaply made to be of much use. While these are a tad too big for my tall 9 year old, they offer maximum protection, comfort and they look amazing. Almost pulled the trigger on a more expensive brand, but glad I didn't. Couldn't be happier.

My daughter is is nine and is 4'7" tall and we were looking for a pair of shin guards that would fit her. These fit perfectly!! They have a lot of straps that after adjusting keep the shins guards in place. They have taken a beating and are still going strong. They also allow her to move freely or as freely as you can in shin guards!

I bought this for my 11 year old for travel baseball. The fit is excellent, the padding is supreme, and the floating kneecap pad is the best. The material is extremely strong and my son says he doesn't even notice when wearing them. I would recommend this to any youth baseball player. Some of his teammates have some of the other manufacturers and they don't even measure up to Mizuno.

Our rec league gives out crappy "house" knee pads, so I decided to upgrade for my team. Bought these shin guards, they are seriously awesome. Gives the kids a little extra protection on their feet as well as their knees, and they are easily and quickly adjustable to account for different sized kids playing catcher. Couldn't recommend them more.

Mizuno by far is the best looking equipment around and an excellent quality. My son loved these but they ran much bigger than other brands. I had to return but will buy these for him when he gets a little bigger.

This is the second set of Mizuno shin guards I have purchased. My 12 year old has been wearing the intermediate set for 2 years and now my 8 year old is wearing the youth size and loves them. They are extremely flexible in all the right places and both girls love the padding right at the knee cap, very comfortable when blocking balls.

We got these for my son after he kept getting hit in the indide of his kenn with foul balls. The wrap around protection works great and still provides very good mobility. The only thing he doesn't like are the straps that go right behind the knee which hold on the flap over the knee joint. The straps rub and the flap flaps when running. The flap is removable which solves both problems, but exposes that area of the knee. Overall I would recommend these. They provide great protection, are durable, and lightweight.

These are great and I really recommend them. My kid is an average 9 yr old and they fit perfectly with room to grow. I recommend that they are used with knee wedges for more comfort.
