Chrome finish seems to be chrome colored plastic. Nice, otherwise.
It's nice, but when I selected chrome finish, I expected real chrome. The "soft-touch" finish looks to be plastic. I don't like plastic accessories, but I like this well enough to not go through the trouble of returning it. I wish the product listing had been specific about what materials are used for the frame.

Very pleased with purchase of this mirror
Very pleased with purchase of this mirror. I wanted a lighted mirror with larger magnification but could not find one for a reasonable price. So glad I choose a product with 10 magnification. Can see my face with no difficulty. The height is also great - easy to hold while curling my hair in back.

Dirty product arrived at my home!
The mirror had finger print smudges all over it on both sides along with streaks of what looked to me to be an attempt to clean it. It basically grossed me out. I kept it only because I was desperate for magnification side.
