a true waterproof full length coat and at a very reasonable price
I have been fed up getting soaked through week after week sometimes in torrential rain wearing a supposedly waterproof jacket and decided as the rain keeps on coming I better find a true waterproof coat - and found this gem - Portwest. If like me you have to spend long periods regulary outside and want to stay dry - then these are a great investment especially this autumn when the rain has hardly stopped for over a month. It is made of a good strong material and is totally waterproof. The colour is a rather bright fluro yellow with built in tuck away hood and reflective strips. I am 5ft 11in and It is nice and long and reaches 1/2 way down my calfs to just above my wellies - so no more soaking wet trousers etc. OR shirt. I am 38in chest but bought the bigger 'Large 40-42in' size so I could wear a thick jumper comfortably under it when the weather is really cold The zip is designed to only go about 2 thirds of the way down so that if you have to bend it wont tear the zip or coat but the metal press studs go all the way down when needed so the coat will stay fully closed. I really wish I'd bought this years back - no longer do I have to change several times a day ahhh

Dry but not warm.
Excellent for use in wet but temperate weather conditions. Deffinately does not keep you warm but it does keep you dry. Length is good (I'm 6ft) only my calfs get damp which is great when I get back in my cab as I'm not sat in wet trousers - the lower leg dries out quick.

Wenn man ihn offen tragen kann geht es sonst kann es geschehen das man durchs schwitzen innen genau so nass ist wie draußen durch den Regen. Vor dem verwenden sollte man sich die Druckknöpfe anschauen, bei mir haben sich zwei verabschiedet. Wenn man mit dem Mantel nur steht absolute Spitze, viel Bewegung ist nicht zu empfehlen.
