Great yoyo

With all the new modern and updated yogos, sometimes it's fun to just go back to the old school basics. This is exactly as I remember it. Super fun to play with, very responsive, and loops easily. The transaxle design is unique in the fact that the string naturally doesn't catch super easily, even with the starburst pattern that's on the inside. So I found if you string it like a normal yoyo, you can actually still manage to pull off more than you would normally with other yoyos of this design/style. If you are more into tighter response and looping, if you double loop the string around the axle, that really turns it into a sweet spot for that method of play. All in all, it brings back really fun memories of my childhood, and by all accounts, it's still a great yoyo to this day. Would highly recommend!

These work great

As long as your child is old enough to grasp the concept of throwing the yoyo properly, letting it sleep, and getting the yoyo to return, this is great! Plenty durable since it's plastic, a long enough sleep time to learn your basics, and it's a transaxle so no tiny pieces bearing to worry about breaking. Definitely not for someone trying to get into actual 1a (or more likely 2a) yoyo'ing, but for a kid who just wants something that sleeps to learn their first tricks, this is perfect!

I actually had several Yomega yo-yos back in 99-02 when they were the toy at McDonald's. The Fireball was always my favorite and I must have went through 10 of them back in the day. Always had a love of Yo-yos ever since I got my first Duncan when I was a wee one and found out that my Grandpa was a Yo-Yo champ! I recently purchased this as a piece of my childhood and was not disappointed. I am still getting my skills back, and walking the dog is a little harder as I'm a teensy bit taller than I was at 9 years old lol but I love it. The quality is still very high and it was very much worth the price (Though back in my day they were $2, get off my lawn! haha) If you want to get into yo-yos or get a gift for someone who does, this is a solid and safe purchase. The Transaxle makes it easy to do all the classic tricks and build up confidence.

It’s ok, We had a problem after we changed the string. It doesn’t work now like before, the yo-yo doesn’t want to come back up. And the string doesn’t want to wrap up. Very frustrating

This is an excellent yo-yo. It retracts nicely. The color is beautiful. I've already mastered some tricks and am learning more. This is the best yo-yo I've had to this point. Highly recommend!
