I have used facial sunscreen every day for as long as I can remember. My requirements for an excellent sunscreen are lightweight, not greasy, no white cast and MUST go well with my other skincare stuff without causing pilling especially under makeup. I find that most sunscreen pill when layered with other products and that drives me nuts. But this sunscreen doesn’t. When I need things to go on well, this is always my go to.As a reference, I have tried cerave am (epitome of pilling), cerave ultralight (also a favorite), biore (very good), supergoop (oily, don’t understand the hype), beauty of Joseph (very good, but still a little to heavy), cerave tint (ultra greasy), dermalogica (pills).

This is my all time favorite face sunscreen. Has a nice but subtle glow (on its own or under makeup), it feels so light on the skin, it never makes me break out. It sinks into the skin so well that I don't even think twice about using it every single day.

Most sunscreens I have used before makes my face too shiny because of my oily skin. I dug through Reddit to find a product that finishes matte and will pair nicely with my Aveeno daily moisture lotion. Haven't had weird glowy reflections since! I suppose it is slowly getting more and more pricey for people who might not need something oddly specific like myself, but for me personally it's still kind of worth the $13 per tube after tax. When I bought my first tube back in 2019 it was only $9.58 a bottle after tax!

This gel is so light that you will never know you are wearing sunscreen and no one else will either! The days of cakey white creams are gone! This provides coverage that is featherweight. My aesthetician recommended it and she is supposed to be pushing the products that her place sells…. So happy to not have to break the bank to save my skin from damage!

Wish I could give this 4.5 stars instead of just 4. The sunscreen is great and gives a nice dewy look in natural lighting. I tend to use it in place of my moisturizer/cream (after toner and serum) because my face ends up looking greasy for a while if I try to layer both. There’s a slight white cast but personally, I don’t mind it since it seems almost subtle on me and I think the inorganic/physical filters provide extra protection than with just the chemical filters.Cons:-Small size.The bottle/container is 40g. You could go through it very quickly, depending on how often you re-apply and the amount that gets dispensed.-Not water resistant.I’ve seen previous posts saying the usage is best for Winter and I agree. If you’re not constantly exposed to intense heat or sunlight, this would be good— otherwise you’ll just sweat it off if you’re not already rubbing it off (ex. touching your face a lot). The good side to this is that it’s washed off with ease.Another edit 4/19/21:This is more of a side note, I think. Felt like I needed to add a little more clarity. Sorry about my long and repetitive review! When I mentioned using this sunscreen in place of my [then] moisturizer/cream, it was because the cream itself always left a tacky feel to my skin. Layering this sunscreen over that always had my face looking greasy. Eventually finished it and using a “lighter” cream with no issue of layering this sunscreen on top.I still think it’s important to properly moisturize your skin before putting on this sunscreen. Even if this is provides some hydration, it shouldn’t replace your daily moisturizer as this product is mainly meant to provide UV protection.

I’ve purchased this a few times and even gifted it to almost all my sisters and women in my life. Goes on lightly, haven’t noticed the scent and if you are dry skin this will work great as a primer as well.

this has replaced the old sunscreen for my skin care routine. it has better filter since its not made in america and it spreads really well, also it doesnt have that nasty sunscreen smell that so many products have.

That one is my favorite sunscreen after infinite number of trials for different brands, it is very light weight, protect, does not irritate my sensitive skin, gives a very nice glow yet not greasy, people actually ask me what r u wearing on ur face, so it is noticeable, blends well, does not leave a white cast, sometimes i just wear it and other times i wear foundation or powder on it, so good undermakeupThe only disadvantage the bottle is small, they need to make it bigger, however it is still good for what u get
